A sincere thanks to the volunteers who have supported the club throughout the last financial year or more. Without your help, support and committment over the last couple of years, we would not be where we are today. Our departing members from the '08-'09 committee include

Sean presented his closing president's message for the year. He thanked all members for their involvement and assistance as well encouraged members to put suggestions forward. Sean will continue on as the Show Society Rep and Yvonne will assist out when needed. Thanks again Sean and Yvonne.
We welcome in a new crop of '09-'10 volunteers including Victoria Selby, Lucinda Dunn, Katrina Lloyd, Alicia Ilett, Libby Freeman and James Fisher!!! We look forward to your vibrant ideas and support throughout the next financial year.

Congratulations to the four FHPC members who were recently presented with their C Certificates. Congratulations to Carly Wenham (see picture), Kat Belle, Bella Fyfe and Alicia Gallagher. It took nearly four years for this to finally happen and the last time C certificates were presented was over 20 years ago! Thank you to Denise Dawson for assisting the girls and making this possible.

Our Freshmans Showjumping event will be held on August 30th as a lead up for the Yankalilla Show Jumping Event to be held on the Yank Show grounds in Octber 2009!!

Announcing this month's "Valuable Volunteer"...
Congratulations goes to Sean Gallagher who is has made such a contribution to this club over the last 2-3 years that Im sure it has often gone un noticed and with out thanks! He has put so much into this club over the years and he doent even ride let alone like horses!!! THANK YOU Sean from all of us at the club. We do appreciate your time and effort and realise that we would not be the club today with out you (and a few others behind the scenes).

A reminder to members for future rallies. Please ensure you pick up your horse's poo and hay around your tie up areas. It's the same principle when you visit the beach. Just pop it in a bucket or bag and take it home with you. Its much more hygenic. Remember: Leave only your footprints behind!!
