Welcome to the Fort Gay Volunteer Fire Department official site! We are located in Fort Gay, West Virginia. We are a volunteer fire department with paid EMS service, and we cover a rural area in Wayne County. Since 1962 Fort Gay Volunteer Fire Department, has been dedicated to serving our community and our surrounding communities. We currently service the community with two fire engines, and two ALS certified emergency ambulaces. While our fire division is strictly volunteer, we also have 24 hour, 7 day a week Emergency Medical Service coverage, and mutual aid agreements with nine other fire deparments so that every call is answered whenever we are needed.
