Have you ever wished you could get paid to sit around playing video games? Not have to get up and leave your game so you can run to work for 8 hours? What if you could earn as much as you were at your job, just by sitting in front of your computer? Spend 10 minutes a day "working" then have the rest of the day for you! Then you can sit back and settle into FFXI while you earn money. Make as much as you were at your job or even more.

I hated having to leave a really good party on FFXI because I had to head to work. Now I make more than that stinking job used to pay me, and the only time I have to leave my game, is when I want to! Its so nice, without having to take 8 hours (or more considering transportation) out of my life each day, I have more time for friends and my family, and most importantly, my gaming! And think about how cool it is to log out of a game and see that you've just EARNed 100 bucks or more (trust me, its pretty sweet).

Check it out!!

I know its hard to decide if you want to try it, but just go for it! You'll be making money in no time. And if you don't like it (though I'm sure you will) you can just stop at anytime. It's working for me, and I just had to share it with everyone (I mean maybe if more people start working from home, and having more time for ffxi, maybe I'll find more people seeking for parties on there )

          Update 06-23-08

I've decided that no matter how much time I try to make for myself to play the game, I'm never having enough time to get back into gardening. Its sad for me, I miss the hobby and had really intended to get back into it and finishing this website, but all I can say for now is I just don't have the time for it.  I'm handing over the site to a friend of a friend for the time being. Wether he updates/changes/finishes any aspect of the site is up to him, though it has been agreed that if/when I ever have time to get back into gardening, the site will be mine to take back.  Good luck to everyone and thanks again for the support over the years.

          Update September 24

Hey Everyone, thanks for continuing to stop by. I've been playing hard trying to get my char back up to a seed farming lvl, though as of today I'm trying to get my old char back with the Return Home to Vana'diel campaign. Wish me luck.

I've started somewhat of a forum. Please feel free to post with any gardening related chat. I'm still figuring out a way I want to reorganize all the result pages... give me time I've had alot of other things on the go.

          About This Site

Gardening is one of my favorite hobbies on FFXI right now, and upon searching the web I never really found any satisfacotry gardening sites. So I thought I would make it a little project to start a simple site with all my gardening results and experiences. Hopefully someone out there will stumble upon this site and find it semi-useful in their gardening.

Currently the information provided will be very limited as I'm just starting to record my gardening results  and I will post them here as I get them. Please be patient and check back regularily ^^

          About Gardening

For those of you who've come to this site because you saw FFXI, but have no idea what gardening is about on the game, I will tell you. Gardening is a little side hobby available to anyone on FFXI. It is not a craft, as it does not give skillups and anyone of any level can get the same results. This hobby, as I will call it, is accessable in your Mog House (everyone is given a mog house upon character creation).

First you need a pot (which you can buy at the Auction House) to plant the seeds in. Then you need seeds (either get them from a mob that drops them or buy them from the AH). While in your mog house, and you must have the pot placed in the layout of the house, select gardening option, and then plant seeds. This will allow you to select which seeds that are kept in your mog house you would like to plant. Once you've planted seeds, you're free to leave them be for a few days. It's best to examine the pot every now and then to ensure healthy growing, but other than that your moogle will do all the work for you. After the few days have past you will be given the option to feed a crystal to your plant. You do not -have- to feed a crystal to your pot, but doing so is just another option available to create different growing results. Then, you wait again for a few days for the plant to fully grow. When it is finished growing it is usually glowing a different color so you can tell at glance it is ready, but also the option will become available to harvest the plant. Once you harvest the plant you pick out however many of the results you chose to grow. The pot will once again be available to plant more seeds.  Simple huh ^^

          Results

I've placed all results for each seed available on their own page. All results are put into tables categorized by what day I planted what in what with what. So if you would like result information on vegetable seeds, click ont he Vegetable Seeds page, then look for the table of what day it is you're planting your seeds. Once you've found that table look at what pot you're using and what crystal(s) you intend to feed it and you will then see what results you will get. In the results tab on the tables I've also included in brackets the days that I fed the crystal(s) and of which I harvested the plant. This may be a little confusing so I will put an example below just to show what I mean. If you have any questions or suggestions please feel free to contact me. Hope this is helpful, if you have any information you'd like to send in to me, just fill out form on contact me page ^^

EXAMPLE

Fruit Seeds - Lightsday table

POT  CRYSTAL 1  CRYSTAL 2  RESULT
Ceramic  Fire  Ice  #item (wind) (earth) (water)

With this example..it is under the fruit seeds and it is a lightsday table (white background table). The pot used for this example is Ceramic. The first crystal used is a fire crystal which is fed on windsday (as you can see from the first brackets in the results). The second crystal used is an ice crystal which is fed on earthsday (as you can see from the second brackets in the results).  The result is given in the numbered amount that I personally harvested (though I believe the number varies with whatever the moonphase is at the time, I do not intend to record that at this time, as there are way too many results for me to record as it is). The plant is harvested on watersday (as you can see from the third brackets in results section).

If this was a table with a seed that requires only one crystal, there would only be two bracketed informations in results section the crystal fed day, and the harvested day.

I hope that isn't too confusing :P
