On this page I will put walkthroughs to the various sidequests of the Final Fantasy games.
FF 7 Chocobo Breeding
Yellow Chocobo

Nut - Zeio Nut
You may not get a Gold Chocobo first time so I would save the game outside the ranch and reset the game with the shoulder buttons plus start and select instead of having to find another Zeio nut and having to wait for your Chocobos to be able to breed again. If after a few attempts you still haven't got a Gold Chocobo then you should head to the Gold Saucer and race your Black and Wonderful Chocobos. Get them to about A rank and try again if you still don't get a Gold Chocobo move them up to S rank.
NUTS
Carob Nuts can be found just south of Bone Village. Defeat a Vlakorados to recieve one, you may have to fight more than one cause they don't always drop them.
Zeio Nuts can be found on the small island (Goblin Island) to the north east. Fight a Goblin to receive one.
FFVIII GF's Locations
This walkthrough should help you get evry Guardian Force (GF) in Final Fantasy VIII.
Quezacotl: Go to the front gate of Balamb Garden and speak with Quintis.
Shiva: Go to the front gate of Balamb Garden and speak with Quintis.
Ifrit: Defeat Ifrit in the Fire Cavern within the time limit.
Siren: Draw from the boss Elvoret at the top of Dollet Radio Tower who arrives after Biggs and Wedge are defeated.
Diablos: When you are about to leave on your mission to Timber talk to Headmaster Cid before you leave and he will give you a Magical Lamp. Use this item in the menu and you will have to fight Diablos deafeat him and he'll join you.
Brothers: Head to The Tomb of the Undead King after buying a map from the Guard in Deling City. When inside head to the top most part of your map here you will fight one of the Brothers defeat him and he will run away, now you most go to the most left and right parts of the tomb and activate items after doing this you need to go to the center of the tomb (straight forward from the entrance) here you will have to defeat both Brothers before they will join you. .
Carbuncle: Draw this GF from the boss Iguion in the Presidential Building in Deling City.
Leviathan: Draw from the boss Norg on Floor B1 in Balamb Garden after breaking the protective shell around him.
Pandemona: Draw from the boss Fujin in Balamb Hotel after the battle with Raijin outside.
Cerberus: Defeat him in the Center Hall In Galbadia Garden before facing Edea
Alexander: Draw from Edea in Galbadia Garden you have to Defeat Seifer first
Doomtrain: First you have to get the Solomon Ring from Tears' Point in Esthar and then you have to collect a certain number of certain items
1) 6 Steel Pipes you can steel these from a Wendigo which are usually found in the forest near Dollet and where Galbadia Garden use to be
2) 6 Malboro Tentacle you can steel these from a Malboro which can be found in Esthar's Grandidi Forest and the Islands Closest to Heaven and Hell
3) 6 Remedy +'s Purchase 60 Remedy's and use Alexander's Med LV UP ablilty
Bahamut: Go to the Deep Sea Research Center in the bottom left hand corner of the map (although it does not appear on the map) and you will see a blue light shining if you move while the light is on you will have to fight a Ruby Dragon so move while it is off when you get to the light talk to it. It will ask you a question reply 'We do not wish to fight' you will now have to fight a Ruby Dragon kill it and then say 'Never' to the next question and you will have to fight another Ruby Dragon after killing that choose the 3rd option from the list even though it is invisible and you will fight Bahamut beat him and he's yours.
Cautuar: Head to Cautuar Island which is Southeast of Esthar Desert and you will see a Cautuar poping out of the ground and back in. Land on the island and walk into it when it pops out and then you will fight it. Deafeat him and it will join you.
Tonberry: To get Tonberry you must kill 20 Tonberry's in Centra Ruins around the fountain. Once you have killed the 20th Tonberry, The Tonberry King will drop down defeat him to get him to join you.
Eden: Go to the Deep Sea Research Centre where you fought Bahamut and head down the stairs in the middle you will need to keep going down by going to consoles and using steam to release the doors. On one floor you will see there is one door on the wall and one on the floor open the one on the wall and enter which will replenish your steam a bit which you will need when you get to the very bottom because you need at least ten units. When at the bottom use the machine and you will have to fight Ultima Weapon draw Eden from him and defeat him. Now you have every GF. For collecting GF's that you missed see below.
If you missed any GF's on your way through the game, you can get them during Disc Four at Ultimecia's Castle. After defeating Sphinxaur, choose to unlock the Draw ability. You'll then be able to draw the following GFs from the corresponding Bosses.
