This page is devoted to the most important characters in the history of Final Fantasy Tales.
*These characters can include members from The Lair and Dream as well.
The "Prolific" members are broken from the group for their participation and efforts exceding expectations. They're also noted for this because they have been some of the longest tenured and memorable characters that helped build the site to what it has become.
"Notable" members should not be considered any less. This section is devoted to any character that participated a good deal, stayed with the sites for a long time, or contributed something to the site during their tenure.
ALL of these characters should be remembered for their roles in the stories at Final Fantasy Tales...
Crohan Mechanly (The Mercenary) The most noble pure fighter in FFT. Crohan has been a model of consistency through the years. He has almost always been around, never been an overwhelming poster by any means, but consistently maintained storylines of his own. Crohan would always join any battle if needed and fight for a noble cause. He has always been known as one to preserve the balance and never strayed from that by attacking anyone other than the enemies of good. Even the noble Summoner had a time where his alter ego attacked their friends, but Crohan has never been put in any place than protecting friends and fighting for what is right. Crohan has been known to be more of a loner and go on missions for his beloved Balamb Garden. The SeeD is probably the most well known since Squall to come from this Garden.
Infinity Paige (The Summoner) Infinity joined the Lair 6-8months after it was created and was originally recruited by Crohan who introduced him to Clerian as well. The two talked Infinity into joining the site and would eventually post with him for sometime after (also with Rainii) before Clerian's abrupt death and disappearance. Infinity originally was a SeeD at Trabia Garden specializing in demolitions. He also was known to have his wolf, Red, with him at all times. Eventually, Infinity learns some of his past to find out Rydia of The Mist was his mother. Shortly thereafter Infinity reports to the Garden that he would leave permanantly to pursue his training to follow his mother's footsteps. Since then Infinity has been known to be involved in ever single major story as well as many side quests. He, like his closest friend, Crohan, has been known to always fight for a noble cause. Infinity is known as "The Founder" of FFT, along with Randi they started the movement from FFDream/Lair to create a new forum for the members. Since then, Infinity has been the most active member on the forums through the years. His contributions are unmatched as well as his shear volume of posts/storylines. Infinity has been known as the one to start the majority of major stories on the sites to get all members active. He is also the one member to contact that can contact almost any other members, former and/or current.
Kayotic (The Berserker) Randi and Kayotic are like Lewis and Clark. You can almost not think of one without the other. These two would periodically get in squabbles for power to prove who was stronger. Randi maintained more of the good guy aspect, while Kayotic was more of the bad guy. (Yes...same description as Randi, but it's only so fitting) Kayotic went on to allow Randi and Infinity to take on the responsibilites of the site, which allowed him to turn more destructive. Kayotic was always thought of as an ally because of his important in other large stories, however when left alone for periods of time he would get a destructive itch. On many occassions Randi, Infinity, and Crohan would have to 'take care' of his messes as well as subdue him. Kayotic has since disappeared after the second FFT site, however many references are still made to him and he is still greatly respected and missed.
Rainii Loire (The President) Rainii is the sweetest, fun loving character on FFT. She is a person anyone can join in and post with. Rainii joined 4 months after the start of The Lair and has been since linked to Crohan, who she has a love for, and with Infinity, who she always considered her big brother. In addition to Clerian, these two characters were known to always look out for Rainii's best interest. Rainii is the daughter of Laguna and shares most of the presidential duties of Esthar. She has been known to use the city's army on multiple occasions to help battle attackers of the balance. Rainii had a long period where she disappeared, but when she came back she was a whole new person. Her activity increased and had been involved in every story since on a much higher level.
Randi Serinio (The Mana Knight) Randi and Kayotic are like Lewis and Clark. You can almost not think of one without the other. These two would periodically get in squabbles for power to prove who was stronger. Randi maintained more of the good guy aspect, while Kayotic was more of the bad guy. Randi, along with Infinity were two of the most important members through the first few years of FFT. Together they created the basis of what the site was to modeled after from then on (to even this day). The only "Prolific" member aside from Infinity that has been involved with the politics of the site. Randi attempted to make a forum that members could move to. It was an incredibly comlpex forum that was to be based on the pressing issue of statistics. Unfortunately it was too complex and he gave in to give Infinity a hand at the end of finishing FFTales for the new site. Randi remained co-administator of this site until the move to the second FFT when he came up "missing". Infinity did not replace him, instead took all of the admin responsibilites for a long while before eventually feeling other members were finally ready to take over and help out.

Aearwen: once a very active member and was a top poster, was even trusted to be a god-moderator, joined around the same time as Aziah after the Lair
Aziah: at one time was one of the most active members, ran a few site storylines that were amazing, as well as being involved in about anything else! A very respected member among the FFTales family.
Blue: accompanied with his friend Loci they both were great posters, reliable, and consistent. Been with the site for a very long time and has always been around. He once served as a temporary co-administrator w/ Loci.
Chaos: a solid poster that has been around since the independent FFTales sites. Consistently in the top poster section.
Clerian: an original member on The Lair, was once very active and consistently posted w/ Crohan, Rainii, and Infinity. Thought to have died in a battle against GK while protecting Rainii. Clerian disappeared for years until coming back to Rebirth and 'bringing himself back from the dead'.
Falion: Was around since nearly the beginning. Always been one to keep contact w/ only a few characters like Paul, Infinity, and Jacob. Falion was the one that sent out word that FFTales Rebirth was created to start the rerecruiting of the site.
Inu/Trio: one of the most consistent people on the forum, has been around since the first FFT and has always been an active poster to keep the site 'alive'
Jacob: along w/ his friend Falion they keep to themselves but consistently post their own small stories.
Jas: Around since the beginnings, Jas has always been around to post on a consistent basis, and help when he can. One of the core members that has always been around.
Jenny: Recruited around the same time as Inu and others. Jenny was one of the top posters for a long period, she was known to be involved in almost every posting on the site.
Kenny & KnightBlazer: Both viewed as characters involved in as much as possible and help out whenever needed. They've both been with the site for a very long time.
Kristen: Along w/ Kayo and Randi was one of 'the original' core members. She always posted with those two and was consistently with the site.
Laguna: Helps out whenever possible on anything needed concerning the setup/structure of the website. He was also a very consistent poster.
Loci: Been with the site since both him and Blue joined. They've both been very consistent. Loci, known as the virus, has been the core of many battles against 'evil'. He has ran many storylines and even filled in as a temporary co-admin for a period.
Lucia: More known to post with characters such as Zion, Muja, Nev, and Laguna she has been around and consistently posting. She also assisted Rinoa on her old boards for maintenance.
Memory: Started FFTales Rebirth. It was a successful attempt to get the site up again. Managed to get the word out to a few members that relayed to more key members.
Morgan: Was around for a long time and posted on a consistent basis.
Muja: Was almost always one of the top 3 members in total posts. Muja has been a rock solid character that has helped carry the site.
Natalia: Recently joined character that came in a 2 yr absence of Crohan. Filled his spot best she could, but they were big shoes to fill. Still a very consistent and good member.
Nev: Borderline of being one of the elite members. Nev has been in the top 3 posters on every site and even created a version of FFTales after Infinity appointed her the site administrator to 'carry' on the tradition in his absence. Nev has always been around thru the years.
Paul: Started up a side-forum during a slow period on FFTales to help promote people to post on either site. Paul also served as a temporary administrator for some time on FFT.
Ozz & Shelby: Both recruited and joined at the same time towards the tail end of The Lair. The brother-sister combination posted on a consistent basis thru the FFT years.
Rinoa: The founder of everything. She started The Lair that was the starting place to the core members. She started the site after the Lair that was the platform for the departure of the members of FFTales. Her final site was a last attempt to get the members back well after FFTales was established. Each time was a failed success as most of the core members rejected it because of their feelings for how things went downhill after they had left The Lair.
Zion: Zion was one of the most reliable posters and served as a temporary administrator. He has been around since the first year of FFTales and made a mark since.
