Housing 1: "I played on a shard where if someone stole my key they basically stole my house, is that how it is here?"

No, as the owner/co owner of your house you can lock items down that nobody can unlock or remove. How ever, there are no secure containers. By locking a box down and putting items in it you simply prevent the items from decaying, how ever the contents of the box can be taken. We suggest blocking your locked down boxes with tables.

2: "Can someone steal my deed when i am placing a house?"

Yes, they can. So be very careful with it. Leave it in your bank until you have a spot picked out. Once you pick the spot out mark a rune there, go to the bank, recall back to the spot and place the house quickly.

3: "Will my house decay if I don’t go in it for a long time?"

Yes. Your house needs to be refreshed at least every 30 days if you want it to stay standing. To refresh the house the owner or someone with co owner/friend status must double click the house sign. If this is not done at least every 30 days the house will decay and all items inside become unlocked and drop to the floor for the public to take.

4: "If I take my house down do I have to wait a week before I can place another one?"

No. You can place right away.

5: "How many houses can I place?"

You can place 1 house per account and have a total of three accounts.

The Map

Our map here on Felucca Reborn is PRE RENESSAINCE. This means there is no Trammel, no Ilshenar, no Malas.

How ever, depending on population size and community demand we might add T2A (lost lands) later on.

Player Versus Player

1:"What's the PVP like here on felucca reborn?"

The pvp style on this shard is that of the Renaissance period of Ultima Online. This means....

1a: Poison skill gives a bonus to spell cast poison.
1b: Inscribe skill gives a bonus to magic reflection and reactive armor.
1c: Lumberjacking skill gives a bonus to axe damage.
1d: 2 handed weapons have random "special attacks"(concussion blows, crushing blows, and stunning blows) and can NOT be poisoned.
1e: Because of these added bonuses for mage and dexxer skills there was and is no pre casting or insta hit. The ren period was the most balanced and most diverse pvp style of any period on UO. This is why we chose this style of pvp, and by adding precasting/insta hit we would be contradicting all of that and would ruin the PVP system.
1f: The combination of 80 wrestling and 80 arms lore allows you to disarm your opponent
1g: The combination of 80 wrestling and 80 anatomy allows you to briefly stun your opponent

2: "Is there stat loss on this shard for murderers?"

There isn’t a stat loss, but there will be some sort of punishment/bounty system applied to the shard to hinder reds. This creates a higher standard for the pks on the shard. This means if you’re a PK you better know what you’re doing, and if you’re not a PVPer you don’t have to live in fear because PKs will not be everywhere.

Mounts

1:"Do you have mounts here?"

Mounts here are implemented and are fully functional. Mounts add speed and (despite what many people think due to popular rumor) BALANCE pvp.

The game was designed around mounts and tested efficiently by many people. Taking them out simply hurts dexxers (townies) ability to pvp against mages.

2:"Can I ride the beetle? I love beetles... how about flying birds?"

Nope, sorry kiddo. No beetles or mountable chickens here. In fact, we have steered away from all the "unrealistic" eye sores that were added to UO over the years. You wont see neon orange horses, and you wont see neon orange clothes.

How ever, legend has it there’s more out there... we'll just have to see how much truth there is to legend.

Also, we do have bolas. (bolas are crafted by tinkers and are used to temporarily dismount people).

3:"No ethereal mounts?"

Afraid not. They are too unbalancing for certain aspects. Also, horse sales are a good gold sink, and gold sinks keep a good shard thriving.

Events

1: "I get bored with the regular grind sometimes; will the staff here at Felucca Reborn hold any events for the community?"

Sure will. And though we encourage pvp here, we also encourage PVM and RPing, and will be holding events to suit our encouragements.

A couple pvp events include:
- 1(+)vs1(+) tournaments
- CTF(capture the flag)

A couple pvm events include:
Monster mash
Dungeon count down

And we are currently writing a full plot for our shard for those RPers out there.

Vet rewards

1:"Do you guys have vet rewards here?"

IF we implemented vet rewards, they will be on a real time scale (1 year, 2 year, 3 year.....)

Donation rewards

1: "If I donate, do I get anything in return?"

See donations section of the site.

Clothes

1: "Why did I lose my starting clothes when I died?"

Sorry, no newbied clothes here. People tend to stock pile it (especially thieves) and it just creates a large item count, which causes server side lag.

How ever, we do have a vendor that sells blessed clothes and clothing bless deeds.

2: "Where can I find a black dye tub?"

You can't. Black clothing will be given out by staff at events. This does not mean every time we drop a pirate ship at the docks we're going to give people black clothes, so please don’t ask.

3: "OK, how bout that nifty neon orange clothe you get from BODs that gives everyone but myself a headache?"

Nope, none of that either. In fact, at this point we don’t have BODs either. They encouraged single play for crafters, and we discourage that here. We want our community to interact with each other, whether their interactions be good or bad. Also, some BOD rewards were unfair and unbalancing.

Armor

1: "If I make a suit of armor out of valorite, will it give me more AC than if I make the same suit out of iron?"

No, all metals have the same AC value. How ever, some are more rare than others, making them more expensive and glorified.

2: "Do you have the special leather, you know.. Spined, horned and barbed?"

Yes we do.

Misc

1: "Do you guys have those enchanted items?"

Well, we have a couple of them. It was decided that teleport/invis rings would be implemented, along with reflect clothing. How ever the reflect clothing is delayed, for balance reasons.

We do NOT have enchanted weapons. Meaning, the spell charges on magic weapons. For example... (vanq, supremely accurate, indestructible halberd with 50 charges of paralyze).... Yes there’s magic weapons, just no spells attached to them.

2: "What’s the skill gain like here? I’ve been playing UO for 5 years and have had to start over 100 times and don’t want to take a month to build 1 character again."

Well, have no fear. Our skill gain here is set fast, and our monster loot is fair. How ever, please don’t page staff asking for gold/items because we will not give them to you.

3: "If I commit a crime in town and someone calls the guards, will they kill me right away?

Yes, the guards do insta kill here.

4:"Is this shard a bless fest safety shard like some of the economy-less garbage shards?"

No, its not. Ultima online was suppose to be a "dangerous" game, and that’s what we intend to remake it. Outside of those town guard limits anything can happen, and all can be lost you just need to be careful.
