The IFOMA is open to all serious martial artists. Benefits include:
- Rank Recognition- The issuance of rank certificate commensurate with documented legitimate rank.
- Rank Promotion- The advancement in rank and issuance of rank certificate upon appropriate demonstration of skills before a testing board, with reasonable time-in-grade criteria.
- Cross rank-The issuance of rank certificate in a closely related art equal to current rank. This is done only occassionally where a legitimate reason for the cross ranking is demonstrated.
- Training-As a member of IFOMA, you will be able to train and exchange information with some of the most experienced and knowledgable martial artists in America.
