Fellowship is awarded for advanced work in research, teaching, and administration.There are different types of fellowship such as Pre-doctoral fellowship, Doctoral & Post-Doctoral fellowship.Pre-doctoral Fellowships are intended for students who plan to work toward the Ph.D. or who are near the beginning of their graduated study. There are fellowship and grants for Post-Doctoral fellowship. For many students it becomes too expensive to continue doctoral research and they invest most time and energy in arranging financial support for research.Thus fellowship provides equitable opportunities for all including the disadvantaged group. It also has singnificant impact on the quality of doctoral research by availing these fellowship The aim of developing this site is to help Indian academic community, especially students to know about different fellowships/scholarships available at national and international level for higher studies.
