Lizzie - life as a cat

My name is Lizzie and I am a tuxedo cat .Those of you who have visited before will know that until August 2006 I was an indoor cat living in Cary ,North Carolina . Although well cared for and walked on a leash several times a day , I yearned for the freedom of the great outdoors .So , my opportunity came at last to emigrate and become an outdoor cat as nature intended. After two flights and a 12 hour drive I arrived safely and  now live in the Scottish village of Kimacolm ,where I have the freedom to roam as I please .Life is wonderful .I have established a reasonable sized territory , regularly visit the neighbouring houses to get to know the folk who live there and have brought my family to Scotland with me too. I will again be assisting my favourite artist , Katrin Eagle  www.katrineagle.com with her work ,providing her with inspiration and support.

Now that I'm a proper outdoor cat I have duties to do each day. Main job is guarding my guinea pigs from intruders -though admittedly the only intruders intp their pen are field mice .I caught a mouse the other morning adn presented it to my family as a gift -went down quite well I think!

I am also a little slimmer now that I am roaming around all day -no more droopy belly !!!
