Currently FCA's main focus is volunteering in the community, specifically geared toward proactive decision making by young people.
The Community Volunteers Project aims to meet the needs of all age groups keen on making a difference to the places they live and work. The project provides, at a glance -
- an advice portal for those interested in volunteering
- a service for introducing potential volunteers to real positions
- an advice and support network for existing volunteers
- a place for volunteers to meet and discuss their work and the impact it makes
- a qualified supervisor to provide relevant support
- a system of recognition that awards volunteers for their input
- and support with travel costs involved with volunteering
