Adventure Nineteen - Mao's Muse

Hello!

It's time to report another Realms Beyond event that I dared to play. Adventure Nineteen - Mao's Muse was a very good idea by
darrelljs, our newest sponsor. Thanks for sponsoring and good luck! :)

Scenario: Noted philosopher and poet Mao was praying to the Muses for inspiration, but being an atheist he accidentally invoked the mythical tenth Muse! This patron of new technologies granted the good chairman a glimpse into the future...

Translating to in-game terms, every player was granted one free technology besides the initial ones. We couldn't discuss which was the best technology, but some players listed some options. I confess I read them, but the commentaries weren't taken in my decision.

I'd never won a Vanilla Monarch game, I'm assuming that it's like Warlords 2.08 Prince, which I'm comfortable with.
Having said it, the first choice I thought was to get Fiber Optics, build the internet and have a Civ-II style Great Library granting me all the techs. But I looked at the hammer cost of the wonder and forgot about it. I'd have to almost neglect every other aspect of building a civilization just for it. It shouldn't be a good goal. Then I thought about why everybody chases the Pyramids: Representation. Until very late into the game, Representation is the best government civic and it's worth 600 hammers for it in the beginning of the game. So, I chose to not pursue the Pyramids and, still, have Representation. My initial tech is Constitution.

Let's see how things work out for me.
