Name
Xanax, Helix, Apo-Alpraz, Novo-Aloprazol, Nu-Alprax, Tafil
Generic name
Alprazolam
Manufacturer
Pharmacia & UpJohn
First used in
1981 (approved)
Family
Benzodiazepines
Indications
Anxiety, Insomnia, Panic Disorder, GAD, Social Anxiety Disorder
How does it work? Alprazolam potentiates neurotransmitter GABA
binding. Alprazolam can be used for attaining a quick relief from
anxiety symptoms. Also, clinical studies demonstrated the
effectiveness of alprazolam in the long term for anxiety and panic
disorders.
Side Effects: Feeling sleepy, lightheaded, or unable to think clearly,
dry mouth, changes in memory, change in sexual ability or desire.
Withdrawal: Withdrawal symptoms have been observed after abrupt
discontinuation of benzodiazepines. These include irritability,
nervousness, insomnia, agitation, tremors, convulsions, diarrhea,
abdominal cramps, vomiting and mental impairment. Since these symptoms
may be similar to those for which the patient is being treated, it may
appear that he/she has suffered a relapse upon discontinuation. It is
suggested that alprazolam should be withdrawn gradually if the
individual is suspected of having become dependent, or the drug
perhaps has been used in prolonged high doses.

crystal by your a dipshitbenzodiazepines are terrible drugs and
almost impossible to get off of.
i been on various benzos and let me tell u they might help and make u
feel good while your on them but when u want to stop taking them it is
pure hell to go through (Sun Dec 11 0:50 2005)
nicky by sarah25hello! If you want to stop taking xanax I would stop
as soon as possible. The earlier the better. How much are you on? I
only take it as needed for panic and it is a godsend. I have been on
it and valium for three years. I am not a doc but I think you have not
been on it long enough to have any probloms! That is good news for a
change! good luck. sarah25 (Fri Dec 9 21:44 2005)
5htp by sarah25hi everyone! can someone tell me what 5htp is? i feel
stupid but cannot help it. thanks (Fri Dec 9 21:32 2005)
xanex by NIcholaasI was first diagnosed with GAD on July 9 05.I went
to the ER at 800am because I thought I was having a heart attack. My
heart felt like it was going to explode.I was scared.I have been
taking xanex since then.At 05mg 3x as needed a day.I have found myself
not being able to stay without it for one single day.I get severe back
pain, panic, tremor and insomia. Therefore I choose to stay on the drug
has long has I am healthy.I see a therapist about every other wk and
have had no panic attacks for months since.I realize the benifits of
the drug but at the same time I also realize the downside.Hopefully
soon I will be able to taper off of xanex slowly and with less side
effects.Does anybody else have these certain side effects? (Sat Dec

xanax and alternatives i have found by wouldlovetorelaxI can tell you
all that xanax has been a
lifesaver for me. I have taken it on and off
for 13 years or so. It has helped me sleep,
relax, be able to communicate more
effectively at work....just a ton of things.
I read about all of your dosages and I wish
I could say I was so lucky. My doctor only
allows me .25 mg's twice a day. It was .5
twice a day but she just cut it in half
during a jobs search with interviews
etc....awful...but anyway....i found
something that does relax pretty well. it
isn't xanax, but it is much better than
5HTP. it is a combination of Gaba and
Taurine. it is called True Calm. you can
find it on the internet or in vitamin
stores. i take up to 6 a day at times. it is
not like xanax, but the closest thing i have
found to help relax and it works super for
sleep. two before bedtime work well. another
thing about getting off the xanax: sometimes
you'll have to take a few months to do it
depending on how much you take. for example
- reducing your dosage by 1/8th of a
milligram per week for two weeks at a
time....it isn't that long of a period
compared to cutting back more and being
miserable. it is hardly noticeable. when you
get to about the half way point, you might
need to stay on one reduction for 3 weeks to
one month. but it is so worth it. good luck
everyone. (Mon Nov 14 0:41 2005)
xanax by crystalI believe for the very serious stages of anxiety and
panic disorder, xanax is a very good drug to use. Yeah maybe addicting
but even the so called (non addicting) drugs have atleast one kind of
widthdraw and if it helps you and is prescribed by a doctor than take
it. Don't worry about everything people say that's they're experience
not yours. (Thu Nov 10 14:23 2005)
Xanax XR by LynnI take Lexapro, 10 mg., AdderallXR, 20 mg and was
taking .50 of xanax 3 to 4 times a day. My doc suggested me switching
to the xanax Xr. I'm on my 2nd day with 2 mg tablets. I feel like a
total zombie. The Adderall XR was added to my regimen about a year
ago because it keeps me alert and focused, and much more
motivated. Now I feel like I need to increase the Adderall XR to make
up for the tired awful feeling I have. Anyone else had a different
experience with the Xanax XR vs. regular xanax? I'm too busy with
work and kids to feel like this! (Wed Nov 9 12:59 2005)
Xanax/panic disorder by JodyI have had panic disorder since the age of
12, and I am now 45. Back then they had no clue as to what I was
going through, they just called it "nerves". I read the Claire Weeks
book, "Hope and Help for your nerves" when I was 16, and at least knew
what I had! I moved to Oregon in '81 and started taking Xanax in
1985. So, here I am 20 years later and still taking a minimal amount
to get me through. I have gone through times in my life when I take
.25 and split it in half for the day, and other times (during my Mom's
death) that I increased to 2 mg a day. Right now going through some
emotional times, so taking about 3 .25's a day. I will take it for
the rest of my life unless there is something better that comes along
(we are all waiting for that "magic pill"). I also take propranolol
(low dose) one in the morning and one at night, and it really does
help with the tachycardia (racing heart) which is SO dang scary!! I
have been experiencing some new symptoms as I get older, and they
scare me every time. I have started getting ocular migraines (no pain
but all the auras); also some stomach problems which I never had
before. I have always felt that this has some kind of hormonal
connection, because PMS time is the worst for me (7-10 days
prior). There are no Doctors that will really discuss this with
me. When I was pregnant, I did not have any panic attacks. One week
after I gave birth, I was back to it. So, there must be some hormone
that is more or less when you are pregnant that helps. Sorry I am
rambling here...this seems like a great supportive community. Thanks
for listening! (Mon Nov 7 5:31 2005)
Forgot to mention by Joe XanaxI was on 0.5 mg 4 times a day or QID as
they say in the medical community...... (Fri May 6 20:44 2005)
What's the big deal? by Joe XanaxNot to belittle anyone but I had been
prescribed xanax and had been taking it for a year and a half and
stopped cold turkey when my doctor thought it was making me
unmotivated when the actual problem was that i wasnt on any real
anti-depressants.. the only problem i had was irritability for like a
week or two but that was it..
I'm now, two years later on Klonopin and my doctors seem to not want
to prescribe xanax anymore because of its addictiveness.. and as i've
read here i didn't realize how it could be so addictive because i
havent experienced any of this.. i guess everyone's different..
I'd like for a moment to discuss Xanax Vs. Klonopin.. Klonopin
actually makes me retarded and more drunk-like than xanax. Xanax
sedates my anxiety while klonopin seems to dissassociate me heavily
making me clumsy and retarded. Is there a better medication for severe
short-term anxiety/panic and GAD dissorders?
thanks
Joe X (Fri May 6 20:39 2005)
The Worst Ever by someonewhoknowsHi friends. I originally started
taking 2mg xanax to come off of a serious GHB addiction. I got off
the G, but had the worst feeling ever coming off of the Xanax. I
thougt I was dying, couldn't talk, eat, sleep, concentrate....do
ANYTHING!!!!! They say that a bad benzo addiction is worse than
coming off heroin. I've never done that but it was the worst time of
my life coming off of Xanax. Please be careful with these things
poeple, they are dangerous.
getting off Xanax by SuzanneSteven, my doctor's office said one should
take at least 3-4 weeks to wean off Xanax (gradually reduce daily
dose, stay at each level 3-4 days before reducing again, then when you
get to where you are cutting your pills as small as you can, do that
every other day, then every 3rd day, etc.) It worked for me, and now
I'm on an "as needed" basis. My naturopath said even Valium on
occassion is better than Xanax, so I use that sometimes at nite (to
avoid the vicious cycle of insomnia-anxiety). Also I'm experimenting
with natural remedies such as St. John's wort (used for anxiety as
well as depression I've read). Good luck! (Sun Apr 10 21:31 2005)
Xanex by NickiI have been on xanex for 4 yrs--panic attacks etc. and
my doctor even tried to give me lithium!!! I read up on it and threw
it away!! Steven, my doctor, too had knee surgery and went on
vacation and I was left with only a couple of pills left last week.
I thought I was going to die....but I weaned down from 2mg a day to
one 1 mg. a day--it's been a week-I am feeling ok. I am going to a
new doctor next week to wean off it the right way.
I agree with everybody about the memory loss--sometimes I am sitting
at my desk at work and forget what I am doing. It makes me feel a
little more normal to know other people are going through the same
thing. (Fri Apr 8 20:37 2005)
13 years by stevenI have been on xanax for 13 years - started with .5
mg - now I take 1.5 -2 mg at night only. My doctor went away and for a
week and without it I have realized - that yeah I am addicted to it
but going without it even trying to switch to Ambien has not helped -
anybody with suggestions and please don't tell me about rehab clinics
(Tue Apr 5 12:00 2005)
Getting off Xanax by PeteHi all.
I'd been on Xanax for about 8 years. 0.5mg 3 times a day. Then I
moved to the country and decided to try to wean off it. After about a
month I managed to get through my first 24 hour period without it. I
was lying in bed in the morning thinking "drug free at last". Just
then a huge noisy drug squad helicopter appeared above my skylight,
searching the area for marijuana crops. I don't use marijuana (who
would, with an anxiety problem!) but the effect of the helicopter was
to throw me into a huge panic attack. Talk about irony.
I found that during the withdrawal process I had really bad memory and
concentration lapses and could barely function. Luckily, I did not
have to work during this time.
Now I take 0.25mg on an intermittent basis. The problem is, I seem to
have all the syptomes of irritable male syndrome. Very quick to
anger, little interest in sex or relationships, and episodes of
unbelievable memory lapse.
I'm going to see if I can get my testosterone levels tested.
Sound familiar?
(Sun Apr 3 10:55 2005)
Xanax by LindaCan anyone tell me if there is a blood test that might
show if someone is taking Xanax? I have a suspicion that my 18 year
old son might be taking it. (Tue Mar 29 21:49 2005)
permanent damage from Xanax? by SuzanneThanks for all the good info. I
took .5 mg Xanax at night for sleep for 6 mo., which completely
eliminated my daytime anxiety as well. I'm not well versed in drugs,
and have had negative reactions to others, but had no trouble with
xanax, and think it's great! BUT I was told by a naturopath that it
has caused "permanent central nervous system damage" such as
completely undermining one's ability to handle stress of any kind. Has
anyone heard anything like that? My MD of course says that's
hogwash... (Mon Mar 28 23:48 2005)
Geting off Xanax by Joe AnnHi Michael
I am happy that you are still working on getting off xanax and sorry
that your girlfriend left you. Does she know that you are going
through Xanax withdrawals right now? Do you think that had anything to
do with why she left you? By the way, I tried that 5HTP you
recommended and it had the same affect on me as Xanax. I then
purchased a book about Anxiety and it is really helping me. It teaches
you things the therapists do not take the time to teach you and it
also helps you to point out where your anxiety is coming from. (Sun
Mar 27 11:07 2005)
Emotional Anxiety by Michael CIm still doing fine without the Xanax
Joe Ann, but my girlfriend left me today, so now im feeling anxious

Getting Off Xanax by Joe AnnHi Michael C. I am so happy that you are
doing so well tapering off Xanax after being on it for 7 years. I am
doing well. I will admit that it has not been as easy as I thought.
There have been many times that I just wanted to take a pill to make
it all better. Michael, this is really tough for me and I was only on
them for less than a month so please be very, very careful and I pray
that you are successful. (Mon Mar 21 20:24 2005)

(Sat Mar 19 16:34 2005)
Almost There by Michael CHiya again Joe Ann!. Ive been in the same
boat as you when trying to taper off!.. on about the 3rd day i wanted
to go back to the 0.25 i was taking because it was giving me back
withdrawal such as nervousness, a misconception of reality,
jittery..etc.. so it was hard to cope in the real world like that. but
like yourself, i said no, if i give into this it pretty much means im
like a junkie after his next fix, but please!, no-one take offence to
that comment!. its maybe a bad analogy, but the best i know to use.
no-one taking Xanax ( known as Kalma here in Australia ) that has been
prescribed is a junkie!. im virtually off the Xanax now, since its
been almost a week, and im feeling alot better!!. i was taking this
Xanax for about 7 years.. but to be almost off this is great!. How
you doing yourself Joe Ann??.. you coping ok?
Xanax for OCD by DanaI have recently begun using Xanax for OCD (I'd
used it before for Symptomatic PVCs in my heart)and I'm finding it
very effective. It makes me sleepy, but the Prozac I was taking had
some side effects that I didn't want, so my doctor suggested using
Xanax .5 every 4-6 hours a day, and 1mg at night. So far, really
great. (Fri Mar 18 15:41 2005)
Getting Off Xanax by Joe AnnThanks Michael C for your comment. You
know I read my note over and over after I wrote it wondering how the
Xanax community would perceive my thoughts. I hope that no one
thought that I was implying that I am better than any of you.
Otherwise, I would not be in this community would I. I agree with you
Michael that the people we trust the most(doctors) just dopes us up
and expect for us to go on with our lives. I think it is wrong. The
reason I am scared to feel an addiction to any medication is because I
have a family history of drug and alcohol addiction. Today is my
second day off Xanax. I felt awful yesterday and even thought about
taking a pill. Then I reminded myself that if I was to take it, I
would truly feel like a junky. Today I am feeling much better but I am
being very careful. For those of you who did not read my first note, I
have only been on Xanax less than a month so I think I do not have to
slowly taper off the 1 mg I was taking daily. But if you have been
taking it for a while and maybe at higher doses than I, please use
your better judgment and get assistance from your doctor before
tapering off. I think that withdrawal symptoms can be hell!!!!!! God
Bless all of you. I just never knew that it was so many people out
there that feel like I have been feeling. I think I am going to try to
find a natural herbal supplement I can take for my anxiety. I just
feel so sorry for all of us. (Tue Mar 15 12:12 2005)
I m Thakfull by Parag JaniI m thakfull to alprazolam 0.5mg. my

can stop my thoughts at night when i want to sleep and it can give me
much better day with energy and good mood. If u have same experience

my experience by Parag JaniI m 21 year old, working in an outsourcing
company as an Auditor, i m very serious about my work, my mind is 24
hour thinking about office, my social life is disturbing and also i
disturbe physically and mentally. I want to stop my thoughts at night
when i want to sleep but i can't do it so i m started to take
alprazolam 0.5mg and i feel some better now but i now that i need more

ready for take it lifetime.
cool by sumitI have just started taking this medication and seem to be
doing okay (although I am experiencing "headaches - whether to do with
the medication or not ???
Tapering by Michael CRead your post Joe Ann and yes, i agree it does
make you addicted and in a very short space of time!. yesterday i
went without it, but ive found today alot harder!. i was only taking
0.25 mg once a day, but even that is hard to cope with. so im tapering
down even further by breaking the 0.25 in half!. its the only way i
can eventually get off it. i'll do that every couple of days and see
how i go.
I tell you what though.. this medication just goes to show that the
people in life that your supposed to be able to trust the most that
should have your best interests at heart like your doctor, just dont
exist anymore!. we have been given a drug that is highly addictive,
that has some serious side effects ( as much as they try to play it
down ) and is EXTREMELY hard to get off!.. you hear drug addicts being
critised for the lifestyle they chose. but just look at what the
doctors are giving us!.. its a mockery!.
Xanax by Joe AnnHi guys, I have been reading everyone's stories. I
started taking 1 mg of Xanax for the first time on February 22, 2005
for generalized anxiety and I already feel addicted. My psychiatrist
told me to only take it during times that I needed it...like going to
court since I am an attorney and this is when I get anxiety. I started
out doing what he said and taking it only when I go to Court which is
about twice per week but I notice that during the days in between that
I do not take the Xanax I feel like I cannot function and my anxiety
is worse, so I have been taking it daily. I am already physically and
emotionally addicted to this low dose of drugs and have only taken 17
of them. After doing more research and reading you guys stories, I
have decided to get off this controlled substance as I was doing
better without it. I feel like I had better control of my life, I was
less depressed, tired, less lazy and exercised...I was less confused
and had less anxiety than I have on the days in between dosages. The
days in between dosages I would feel rigid, agitated, nervous...kind
of like I was having withdrawal symptoms so I would take the Xanax and
that would make it all better. So I have been taking the Xanax
daily....All I can say is good luck to all of you and may God be with
you while you are continuing to take these controlled
substances. What I have learned from all of you is that I have to be
careful getting off this med even if I have been on it for a short
period of time and I plan to do that.

Getting off by MichaelIve taken Xanax for almost 7 years now, and
initially at first it was great, but now i find its making me
worse. I looked into a natural Alternative and came across 5 HTP. i
have tapered myself down to 0.25 a day and am now going off it
completely to continue with the natural product.
Look 5 HTP up. you'll be pleasantly surprised by what you read!.
Doctors dont care about you as a patient, they will give you as many
pills as you/they want, because at the end of day, the drug companies
give them incentives to sell as many as possible!. incentives like a
trip to Europe..etc..
Try and solve this Naturally!.. Exercise also helps!.
PANIC DISORDER by SUEI'm 59, had panic disorder since age 28. was
diagnosed as nervousness back then. took valium, imipramine and etc.
over the years. finally 12 years ago, my doc. did research. i now
take, 1 .5mg.alprozolam and i 20mg.inderal every 24 hours only. great
results. but i will have to take this for the rest of my life, i'm
sure. but i feel free (Tue Mar 8 15:02 2005)
Dosages by MichaelKate: If you are only taking 1mg a day, that's not
very high for Xanax. Many regular users use up to 4mg a day. So long
you don't keep increasing your dose, things should be just fine. If
you find that you have to increase more, consult your doctor.
Nicky: You're taking 3 .25mgs total, or each time? You should taper
off of Xanax slowly. Some people will have no problem, but for some,
you can experience 'withdrawl' symptoms. Try to reduce about .25mg
every three days. (Tue Mar 8 12:37 2005)
Xanax for sleep by KateHello. I've recently and suddenly started
experiencing heart palipitations, most prominently when I try to go to
sleep. I was perscribed Xanax for this, and at first .5 mg worked for
sleep, but after a week it didn't, and now I take 1 mg which does
work. I've only been taking Xanax for a couple of weeks, but 1 mg
seems like a prettely high dose to me. Is it? Also, I'm afraid of
becoming dependent on it, what's the danger? I need to sleep. Are
there any recommendations? Does anybody take Xanax just for
palpitations with no panic or anxiety? (Tue Mar 1 10:44 2005)
xanax drug test by pamI take xanax .25 2 or 3 times per week to help
me decrease anxiety from stressful work and to help me sleep. How long
does it stay in your system that could be detected by a drug test?
XANAX WITHDRAWAL by NICKYI take about 3 .25's every 6-8 hours per day.
i want to get off. only been on for two weeks or so. how bad is it
going to be?
help from anyone, please!
xanax by sheriMy MD prescribed xanax 0.25 1/2 tab every 6 hours. i
feel like i need to take it every 4 hours. if i don't wake up during
the night to take it, the next day starts out terrible. i also have
increased anxiety at about 3p.m. i'm taking the doses at
6-12-6-12. Any input? I think 6 hours is too far apart, and wonder
if i need it at night?

xanax xr by vickieI have been reading these comments...I took xanax
the regular kind over the years off and on...I use to just take a bite
when I needed it and it was probably .25 different times during the
day..which usually wound up being about 3-4 times a day...then later I
took it only at nite ..like just .25 at nite only....it was so easy to
get off..I actually started feeling bad and my dr said won't you try
getting off the xanax and I just bit off smaller pieces and then one
nite there was no piece and I was ok..I felt great....well, years down
the road I had a problem with IBS to the extreme...or spastic
colon...and it is usually caused from some emotional upset to me
anyway..I was given all kinds of other meds to stop it and it didnt
work that is when I figured it might be my upset and I took a bite of
xanax about .25 as my pill was .50..and I wanted to just take .25
maybe three times a day and the shrink I saw said well, I dont want to
think of you taking bites like that so I want you to take xanax
xr...which is timed released..I am also on an old antidepresant that i
was given because of a hysterectomy...I was allergic to premarin and
the military dr's never said there was any thing else...they said it
was natural and that I have to take it this was in 1988...what a
nitemare ..so I was glad eventually to get off it and they put me on
an antidepressant instead of another estrogen..I went to see another
female specialist and she took a test and told me I was allergic to
the premarin and said to get off or it will kill me..its good I went
to her.....then she put me on the patch and I was allergic to the
adhesive...so she put me on estrace and it worked...its estrodial and
then i went in to the military hospital and they told me well we could
have given you the estrodiol and I was told that I might want to stay
on both the antidepressant decepramine and my estrodiol...the
decepramine caused anxiety and I was put on the xanax for the first
time then and the regular kind....its always better to take that one
as you can bite smaller and smaller pieces off and do it slowly bit by
bit....well, this xanax timed release that i was taking for
IBS..irritable bowel...I started at .50 as there is no .25 in that
timed released drug and my dr insisted..well, then she raised it to
1mg then wanted me on 1.50 mgs and I was on that for over a year...I
since have had two surgeries and thought maybe even my emotional upset
is over..the only thing I am having problems with now is empty nest
and health problems..so I"m a little down and so the dr raised my
antidepresant from 200 to 250 of which I will eventually lower and
then hopefully get off after what 17 yrs on it whoa..I did try to get
off decepramne earlier on after about 5 yrs I got upset at no one
monitering me..so I got off very slowly like 25mgs over a month or so
timeframe...I got down to 100 and then at work I had a seizure...I
dont think it was slowly getting off decepramine..they never knew
about it..but I was allergic to the anti seizure meds..but that was
the only time I ever had a seizure or since then....they took me off
cold turkey of the decepramine and I wasnt depressed but two months
later it affected my intestines..as I was getting off the anti seizure
drugs because I was alergic to them...I eventually got back on the
antidepressant to straighten out my bowels...well, I told my shrink
that I wanted to get off the xanax xr..timed released..and she said to
do it like for two weeks at a time..and since it is only in .50 as the
smallest dosage...I got off the firt .50 and I did have some anxiety
and nervousness and after two weeks ok...then I started the other .50
and wow.I started having cramps and my bowel was having spasms..and
some cramping..and dizzy and goofy..not emotional or anxiety..so that
is where I am right now...do not do timed released..I took it at
night only...three x .50 equalling 1.50...it time releases during the
day...I dont know how that works...if it releases the 1.50 all day
long or is it smaller amts all day.?? I would like to know..and I will
wait till I feel ok before I get off the last .50...I might give it
more then two weeks...then off.I am at home and can do this with these
weird feelings that I described....to put up with it..you feel every
cut that you had in your body as everything is a nerve...remember its
a muscle relaxant..also...so xanax can be used for other things...but
it is addicting..so I would think of maybe natural ways to handle
things...i use to just put up with anxiety attacks. I have had anxiety
attacks along with some depression and decided I would never take
anything for it and I over came it because I am that way..the heck if
it will win and a dr told me if I dont sleep..I will pass out...and I
did and I over came...I never took anything until I was 37 yrs old and
that was because of my hysterectomy...prayer is the best thing ever
and staying close to God..he wants your attention. I bet he has got
it.

half life of xanax by brad the half life of xanax is short, there fore
it can be prescribed for short term panic, or long term, the main
thing about xanax is that you want to make sure to take your pill
before the other wears off because i have been told by doctors that
problems can occur, during the time i was on it i decided it is not a
strong drug i believe it to be a safe drug
reply to mu by adamno 5- 10 tablets of .25 mg is not nearly enough to
kill even an infant, my doctor had me on .5 milligrams and told me to
take 2-3 in serious situations, some people take much more than that.
i hope your not suicidal, but if you are i dont think xanax will kill
you anyhow,
XANAX by KIMI have been taking .5 ml of xanax for 4 years now only to
sleep, without anyone knowing about it except for my doctor, i want to
quit taking it because i have noticed my memory is not sharp any
more. does anyone know if that is a side effect? also does anyone
know about it causing liver problems? i am scared to sleep without it
because of having a panic attack in the middle of the night. help!!!
my email address is kwood55890@aol.com, i really need someone to help
me. thank you (Thu Feb 10 22:34 2005)
Inderal by LydiaI highly recommend inderal for situational anxiety
that manifests physically (panic, shaky hands, pounding heart). I
tried it the other night for a singing performance and was amazed at
how well it worked. I felt calm and could think - no feelings of
wanting to flee the situation. Minimal side effects - a bit tired
after, but well worth it. (Wed Feb 9 17:35 2005)
Lexotan by BevDoes anyone know how this product works in comparison to
Xanax for panic/anxiety attacks. I have severe panic/anxiety attacks
and need the drug that works faster.
Xanax by BevI found that Xanax worked for me quite fine the first few
months now it takes a few house well to kick in. Has anyone else had
this experience?
Long-term use of xanax by LuciaI first took xanax (1mg 3 times a day)
for my anxiety disorder in 1995 and stopped using after 4 years. Then
I was off of it for 2 years. I got a relapse in 2002 and has since
taken xanax 1 mg once a day. Sometimes 2 mg a day. Any bad effects for
long term use of xanax - Lucie (Thu Feb 3 4:34 2005)
