Sinton is known as the City of Parks by virtue of its many city parks, including Rob and Bessie Welder Park, Welder Park, Speck Aiken Park, Jackson Square, and Grace Coin Park. Other local attractions are Welder Wildlife Refuge, and local antique stores, craft stores, and flea markets, in addition to facilities at the parks. Within the last few years the city has added:

Rob Welder. This 300 acre park, which is about 2 miles north of Sinton on US Highway 181, has recently
undergone extensive improvement. Its amenities include

Rob Welder. This park is a few blocks north of town across the Rachal Street - Chiltipin Creek bridge. It has rolling
terrain, children's playground equipment, and picnic tables. A small creek runs through it.

A few miles north of Sinton on U. S. Highway 77, this is the largest privately endowed wildlife refuge in the world.
It was created by the will of rancher Rob Welder. Regular, group and special tours are available.
