A Short Bio on each of the authors who have brought you VS5
(by Sandworm unless otherwise stated)

First of all, I would like to say that this is quite simply the finest team of people I have ever worked with. You will not find greater talent and kindness in the same place anywhere. The team is, quite simply, amazing. My hat goes off to everyone - they have all worked incredibly hard to make this project what it is. Guys, you're amazing! [Sandworm]

Authors:

Sandworm

Sandworm is the site architect, and has written several episodes, including the preview episode for Virtual Season 5, "Neglectric Visitors" available at Terra Firma. He liaised with the artists and vidders involved and generally did too much admin stuff.
He is a bit of a Jack-of-all-trades when it comes to Fan Creativity. The few short fics he has written were received quite well, most notably:
The Maker - A story of a beginning and an end.
The Maker, part 2
Noranti's Capture - a story about Noranti's past dealings with the Peacekeepers.

He has also done a few videos, but not all of them are online yet. They can, however, all be found here, very kindly hosted by JohnAeryn.com and BrentBarrett

Mars

Mars is one of our major authors, and one of the people who has been working for Virtual Season 5 from the start. She has written a large number of episodes, and also somehow found time to edit some of the others, too! It's hard to define a leader for the team, but when someone has needed help, she has been there to pick them up as soon as possible. Her time and effort given to the writing of Virtual Season 5 is staggering.  She is without doubt the driving force behind this project, the person without whom we would not have got to end of the season.

Phily

Phily has been with us for a long time. She joined in the editing of "Neglectric Visitors", and is continuing her editing as the secondary editor for VS5. She is also writing her own ep.

SETI

Our author in Texas, who also has the most extensive record of writing fanfic out of all of the authors. Her input has been invaluable, both as a biologist we could consult, and with her experience of writing. It is down to her, that the second half of VS5 has been advertised at all.

Her previous fan fiction includes:
Hole in the World--The crew reacts to Aeryn's loss while searching for Katratzi.
Collostrum - Years after PK Wars, Aeryn worries about being a soldier and a mother.
Morning Glory - Post-birth filler for PK Wars.
Humans are Superior - The girls consider Aeryn's bachelorette party (Sparky 3rd place winner).
Widow's Walk - Chiana deals with D'Argo's death.
Building Babel - AU Aeryn recovers on Qujagga from being crystalized.
Twin Towers - John's counterpart to "Building Babel"
From the Rubble - Conclusion to "Building Babel" and "Twin Towers", John and Aeryn return to Moya and realize something's missing.
In Your Eyes - AU season 4/future, years after "Unrealized Realities", John returns to Moya from Earth and discovers Aeryn has gotten trapped in a very different life.
Could Be Worse - a scene from Die Me, Dichotomy with one AU twist.
Allegance - BBFC winner, Aeryn's first night on Moya.

Kami

A student in Ohio, who somehow manages to find time to write Farscape episodes on the side! She suggested the plot for episode 19 and, after some confusion, is writing an episode.

JD

Yet another talented late addition to the team. Although he arrived late, he gave us a much-needed logo, and added both his photoshopping and writing talents to the team. As he said, "I will do anything for Farscape." Well, it's true. He made the trailers and cover pictures for each episode, and even agreed to take up writing at the last minute. We are all greatful for his time and effort.

Cactus Woman

Cactus Woman joined us slightly later than some, but she has been invaluable in editing the early episodes, and she was therefore closely involved both in the beginning of the season, and the end. She has written an unrelated fanfiction, which can be found on the kansas website, Tormented Christmas As if that was not enough, she has provided music for your expectant ears. You wanted to hear Farscape music while you read? Check the music page for the tracks she's edited, to give you the atmosphere you want.

Kheldrion Dawn

KD, as we like to call him, joined us relatively recently, but his unique ideas and suggestions have been utterly invaluable to many of the plots. One of only three male authors, he has enthusiastically contributed both to other people's episodes and his own. He has also written a fic unrelated to V5, Black or Green

Pilots Crazy Sis

Sandworm's little sister, for those who didn't know, and the youngest member of the team. She has joined in the writing and is involved in episode 16. [Webmistress]

HybridBabe

Yet another late edition to the team, HybridBabe has been a constant help in the continuation of V5. She agreed to write an episode at the last moment, when it was discovered I did not have time. I extend my personal gratitude for this. Her constant enthusiasm for the project cannot be denied by anyone.

Luis

Luis joined us pretty late in the writing process, however he wrote the majority of episode 17. A somewhat troubling episode that seemed to escape our efforts at completing it. That done, Luis has offered advice, rewrites and editing services whenever we asked. His fresh enthusiam for the project was a great addition to a somewhat tired team of writers. He's a columist/reviewer for silverbulletcomics.com and has plans to continue the efforts here by writing a Season 6. Yes, we know, he's fahrbot!

Other members of the team:

Midge

Our general editor and continuity expert. Without her and her suggestions, my episodes and many others would have fallen flat. Although she has not written any specific episodes, the time and energy she has funnelled into Virtual Season 5 has helped make the dream possible.

Jenny

Webmistress, and general website co-admin, helping Sandworm, because, frankly, she is better, and he needs all the help he can get! The time and effort she has put into the site is truly unfathomable. We are all very greatful to her. Although she is not writing, she proofreads episodes for spelling and punctuation.

ScorpSik

A brilliant artist. Her work is indescribably amazing. She has very kindly taken the time to paint some pictures for some of the episodes. More of her work can be found here:
Sketches
Paintings
Dolls/Anime

Reefrunner

Reefrunner has kindly allowed us to use some ideas for episodes. We are very grateful for this, as it has provided a bypass to some people's mental blocks. Her own work is over at Kansas. She did her own UR season 5 stories a while back, beginning with Honeymoon. There are six stories in the series, and each is linked to the story before and after it.

Feeve

Coming up through the ranks of broadcast radio, commercial music, and advertising, Feeve comes to us with just the right combination of imagination and talent. Trained in classical piano, Feeve is an accomplished composer and arranger (see here to see his current musical personae). His credits not only include television and radio commercials, but several short films and web-based scoring, as well as the soundtrack for a 1950s sci-fi movie that doesn’t really exist (see here for an explanation). Throughout our virtual season he has continued to contribute various musical and auditory bits for downloading, all in an effort to enhance the VS5 experience.

Liz

An artist who helped us develop the Ximians for Season 5. We are all grateful to her for her tireless efforts and painstaking work.

JF8785

Although JF is not currently involved in the Virtual Season Five project, it really was his idea in the first place. He has to take the credit and the blame for getting us all started on this road. We have continued without him as best we can, and we hope he approves of what we have done with his original idea. [Midge]
