About Me!
Hi my name is Gary Blacklaw. I'm a 15 year old student at a secondary school in Farnborough. I am a massive Farnborough Fan and I play for Farnborough Town Youth U-16's. I am a season ticket holder for Farnborough and I go to every home game and I sit in the main stand and cheer on the lads. My faviourite players for farnborough are: Sasha Opinel and the mighty Dean Green.
Winchester City
Farnborough recorded their second win in a row against Winchester City in the Hampshire Senior Cup. The score 4-1 AET. The score before extra time was 1-1. It looked like an easy game for Farnborough but Winchester wanted to prove that they could beet a conference side. Farnborough didn't play their best, many players couldn't get into the game, Sasha for example. Farnborough still managed to dominate the game. Harkness scored his first goals of the season and he sealed a hat-trick and Ali Chaaban scored the other.
New Signing
Peterborough United’s Ryan Semple has joined Farnborough Town on a month’s loan. He spent two weeks in the summer of 2002 with Manchester United where he played in an International Under 17 tournament in Portugal playing against the stars of FC Porto and Real Madrid.
Northwich Victoria
Farnborough recorded their first win from 4 games in this month (November) and lifted them of the bottom of the table. The beet fellow stuglers Northwich 2-0 thanks two goals from Fiston Manuella and Nick Burton which are both mens first goal for the club.
Fiston Manuella's goal came after 44minutes when Northwich failed to clear the ball away out of their half and Manuella took advantage and smacked a shot home from 25 yards into the bottom left hand corner. Before this Manuella, i thought played a very good game in the first half. He made some hard tackles and he used his height as an advantage and won alot of the headers.
Nick Burton's goal came after 76minutes when he powered a header into the ground and it lofted over the keep and into the top corner. Nick burton was solid at the back and for once escaped without any cards to his name.
Northwich had many chances of which they shouldnt of had. Not long into the game the 'lino' missed an offside and Northwich forwards skipped through and it was one-on-one with Osborn, the ball slipped past Ozzie nd just past the post, Farnborough were lucky. Then appox. 20minutes later the same happened again when the 'lino' missed another offside and Northwich's forwards were through again, another one-on-one with Osborn, again Ozzie stood his ground and it hit his leg and just flew over the bar. Peter Wright hit the woodwork for Northwich Victoria before Farnborough added a second goal after 76 minutes.
Yesterday Farnborough lost once more away to Dagenham. This game mark the debut of new signing Howard Forinton who was singed from Oxford United, also it was the release of the news that Danny Potter is no longer in the first team.
The score was 1-0 to dagenham the goal came after 40 minutes when Steve Watts scored from a left sided cross by Alan Kimble. Also Mark Osborn kept Farnborough in this game pulling off many fine saves.
Howard Forinton could have earned the visitors an unlikely point only but his 20-yard shot cleared the bar with two minutes to go.
Farnborough fought hard and hopefully will have better luck in the next match against fellow struglers Northwich Victoria at home.

Weston Super Mare
Farnborough made an early exit against Weston Super Mare which was an expected win for Farnborough but it was not to be. Farnborough went down 1-0 to a 5 minute diving headed from Clark, thanks to poor marking (the centre backs were drawn to the ball and Sasha was left to mark about 3 men and couldn't pick them all up and it ended in a goal).
One major chance for Farnborough came from a header in the second haf but was well saved by Jones.
Farnborough's FA Cup run ended terribly when Anthony Charles was sent off for two bookable offences, for kicking the ball hard in the net after the ref had already been blown the whitsle.
I would give credit to Weston Super Mare they didn't play well but it just shows how good Farnboorugh are, the thing i would credit then on is the method on how to defend each Farnborough man seemed to have at least 1/2 man markers covering them. Also i liked the way Weston Super Mare managed to apply the offside trap to perfecton and Farnborough were left stunned as they were caught offside from the last attack of the game.
Bookings: Charles, Hayes, Hutchings, Manuella (Farnborough). Clark (Weston)
Attendence: 936.
Referee: A woolmer (Nothampton).

Burton Albion 1-0 Farnborough Town
Farnborough's winning streak came to and end today at the hands of Burton Albion. Farnborough had won three games in a row including FA cup, Hants cup and the league. Also Burton hadn't lost in three games and they extended this to four with Stride's first strick of the season. Today's game was the first game under new official manager, Vic
Searle and he planned to make and impact but it was not to be. Burton took the lead early on through Darren Stride. This was all to be for the match, there was to be no more goals and Burton walked away with the three points.
