Anyone can get involved with the Fant Wildlife Group. Volunteers meet on site 10am-12noon on the second Saturday of each month. Regular activities include tree planting, path clearing and pond maintenance. Children are welcome to join in when accompanied by an appropriate adult.

If you’re not able to join in the practical management tasks, you are welcome to attend a site day where you can enjoy pond-dipping, bug hunts and other species monitoring activities. This is great fun for children.

In October we get together and celebrate the many edible plants you will find growing on site by making jams, chutneys, cakes and puddings using ingredients foraged throughout the year. When the weather is bad and we all need cheering up we bring or make bright decorations and dress one of the trees on site.
