The New Years Eve party with members of the Sacramento Valley Rogue Force (SVRF), Sac Browncoats, Fantastic Frontiers (FF) and the Warp 11 crew fan board (W11bb) was a fun success!Tina, our wonderful and generous hostess from SVRF, and Charolette, her awesome-bartender sister and co-hostess, made sure everyone had plenty of pizza, snacks, and drinks! Great drinks, especially Charolette's yummy speciality vanilla lemon drops! Aya (sp?), from the W11bb, was cool enough to bring a ton of glow necklaces from Golfland, as well as to pitch in $20 for the pizza. I pitched in $50 from the Fantastic Frontiers' party budget that was obtained from the Star Struck Con profit (if you remember, $250 went to the National Brain Tumor Assoc., $250 went to Arcohe Elm and $250 was left for Fantastic Frontiers).Richard, our friendly Trekkie/Browncoats/F.F. member, brough some yummy hot BBQ weiners. We also enjoyed the accompany of Aya's SO Kenny (W11bb), Brad (friend/co-worker of Aya and Star Wars fan -- we liked his cool Jedi costume!), Pat (W11bb), Mikey (Browncoat and SVRF), Shawn (SVRF, who told us of his plans to someday soon make his own independent Star Wars movie), Donna & David (Browncoats), (Browncoats, etc.), John (aka "K'John"/FF) and his wife Annie, and Wendy, Chris, Wayne and Walter (Browncoats, FF), and Tony (FF). So if you were there, but got to drunk to remember the names the next day, that's who you were hanging with. ;)Along with just drinking, chatting and getting to know each other, we watched 6 episodes of Prime Directive (an old hilarious internet series that members of Warp 11 produced years ago -- thanks to Will for loaning those to me!), the Star Wars documentary "Star Woids", played Star Wars trivia on DVD, and played Fluxx and listened to Warp 11 songs, Star Wars parody songs and 70s classics on the Comcast station. Thanks to all who came and contributed and I hope you all had as much fun as I did! Looking forward to seeing you all again soon!

We were Star Struck!Click here for the Star Struck 2005 convention musical slideshowclick here for the Star Struck photos (taken by Sasha Pixlee)It was a blast! If you missed it, you missed something special! If you don't know what it was, it was our very first sci-fi/fantasy/horror convention, held July 9, 2005 at the Scottish Rite in Sacramento. We raised $250 for the National Brain Tumor Association and $250 for Arcohe Elementary's science program, and entertained over 100 visitors. If you were there, thanks!!!! Hope you enjoyed it! This is a new layout for the site, so please excuse any kinks we've missed. :) It's on a new server so now it should be ad-free! Yay! (or at least less ads!) Hope you like it!
