Fantastic Frontiers

Sacramento County Sci-Fi/Fantasy Social Club

Today's Stardate:

FANTASTIC FRONTIERS GATHERINGS (CLUB-SPONSORED MEETINGS)

(Fantastic Frontiers meets on varying days, usually once or twice a month, most often on the second weekend of the month. Gatherings are open to both regular and new members/potential members/guests. For the latest meeting announcements and details, please go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/fantasticfrontiers. Being on our group emailing list is the best way to hear the latest plans. Or you can contact Steph directly (see Contact section below).

A note about our typical meetings: Meeting locations and details vary, but they are sometimes (not always) at the home of Steph (the club organizer/webmaster) in Oak Park, or Tree (co-organizer), in Elk Grove, where they consist of social chit-chat, videos/DVDs, sci-fi-themed games, book exchanges, sometimes *brief* discussions of club business, and the like. They are casual in nature and very informally structured and the focus in on socializing and enjoying entertainment. Members are welcome to bring books they'd like to exchange, collectibles they'd like to display, videos or games they'd like to play, etc.; often we'll decide what to watch or play based on what members shows up ("popular demand") and what's on hand (what gets brought). Other meetings include visits to local attractions or special events. Details subject to change.
