I came across this gem via Netflix.  A few years after her roles in Superboy and SeaQuest:DSV, Stacy Haiduk placed a tough-as nails mechanic and fighter pilot in this low-octane movie, Desert Thunder.  It's filled with action and explosions, but wasn't groundbreaking in any particular way.  It's the sort of movie that you watch when you just want to kick back and turn your brain off for a while.

This was a slightly cliched role for Stacy -- the beautiful tomboy.  The greasemonkey who still has her feminine wiles.  She played a similar character in her SeaQuest days, but I think that she shone a lot more in this low-budget film.  Her combination of toughness and beauty really sold the role.

And just take a look at this vidcap below.  Dang!  None of my mechanics ever looked that good.
