Was it the blonde hair or the double initials? First there was Farrah Fawcett, then there was Suzanne Somers. Then along came Donna Dixon, an exceptional beauty if ever there was one. It should come as no surprise that she was a beauty queen--first as Miss Virginia, then as Miss Washington DC World. Radiant, statuesque and physically fit, she was truly a rare find.
She hit the big time when she was cast as Sonny Lumet in Bosom Buddies--and what an appropriate name that was for a sunny individual like her.

Speaking of which, it's an awful shame that this show only lasted for two seasons. It had a marvelous cast, and this was especially evident in the comedic talents of Tom Hanks and Peter Scolari. These guys were absolutely incredible, and they even outshone Ms. Dixon's obvious attributes.
