Came across this via Netflix as well. It was a very early appearance of Cheryl Ladd on the police drama, The Rookies. In this episode, she played a young murder victim, and... well, let's not go any further.
The Rookies is best known as a vehicle that helped launch the career of the elegantly beautiful Ms. Kate Jackson. Unfortunately, Cheryl's appearanceonon this show was rather brief, and the two future angels didn't get to share any screen time.
She was quite pretty in this episode. It reminded me of her appearance in an episode of (ugh) The Partridge Family, in which she understandably drew envy from Laurie Partridge.
