The last set of images in this dedication to Amy Allen.
The following has been paraphrased from the Wikipedia article on Ms Culea. I can't vouch for its accuracy, but it's consistent with everything I've heard:
Melinda Culea (born 5 May 1955, Western Springs, Illinois) is best known for playing interpid reporter Amy A. Allen in the first 1.5 seasons of The A-Team. She was introduced in the pilot episode, where the character was presented as feisty hanger-on who finagled her way onto the team.
Ms. Culea eventually complained that her character had very little to do. This was especially evident in the second season, in which her character seldom contributed signifciantly to the team's victories. Reportedly, fellow cast member George Peppard did not like a female lead being part of the show and made his feelings abundantly clear. Ms. Culea also pushed for her to be more involved in the team's fights, something which the producers resisted.
Melinda Culea was ultimately dropped from the show. There are conflicting stories as to whether Culea left after become increasingly unhappy with the role, or whether she was fired as a result of her complaints.
