I have arrange a 5 a side tournament for fans of each club of the premiership to league 2 with the eventual finalists playing either 2 legs (one at your team’s home ground and one at the other finalists) or a one-off final at a premiership stadium.
For the opening round each team will be put into a group of 4, (your 4 most local teams) where you will play each other once. Games must be held on a Monday to Sunday (one game a week).
The top 2 from each group will go into the next group stage of four groups. Once again making them as local as possible.
That will leave 24 teams, of which 8 randomly picked teams will receive a bye to the last 16. From this stage on games will become less and less local and players must be willing to travel. Then obliviously there will be left with 2 final teams who will battle out for the trophy.
Games can be played at any suitable 5 a side pitch whether that is an astro turf pitch, grass or an indoor facility. Games will be 25 minutes each way and referred by a ref appointed from the home team. The subs will be role on role off, and at least two of the registered players must be under 16 with at least one under 16 being on the pitch all the match. The home team must also pay the fee for the facility in which they play in if that is required.
Teams must consist of at least 5 players and at most 10. All players must be fans of the club they are representing. Also all teams must be wearing their team’s kit.
There will be a charge of £35 pound for each team who wishes to enter, but only 1 team of season ticket holders can represent their club so first come first served so hurry up and get your entries in.
