I'm disappointed that Ms. Haiduk hasn't had more starring roles or greater visibility. She mostly starrred in a bunch of minor movies and made some television guest appearances. It was always a delight to see her, but frankly, I feel that she's kinda undervalued and underappreciated.
Stacy did have a major role in the abysmal SeaQuest DSV television series, but that's not saying much. I feel that her character wasn't developed as well as it should have been.
Or maybe I'm wrong. I gave up on the series before the first season was halfway over. The writing was positively horrific, especially when they placed excessive emphasis on the Lucas wunderkind character - an even more annoying knockoff of Wesley Crusher.
And the dolphin, Darwin? Another annoying ploy. Ugh. Ugh Ugh.
The had an opportunity to play her character up as a strong female role model, one who acted against type. To some extent, they accomplished that, but their effort was still a disappointment.
Thankfully, her previous Superboy vehicle was much better, even if it had low production values and was targetted at a young demographic.
