The Fanfictionary!

Hello! This is the Fanfictionary, a glossary of terms used in fanfiction, for anybody confused by such things.

If you have seen a term which I don't have listed here, it'd be a great help if you were to mention it. I will list it on my site as 'Unconfirmed' until I have seen proof of it. If you send me proof, then of course it speeds up this process.

While I've been in the fanfiction world - since around November 2004 - I've encountered terms such as Slash, AU, and Severitus. After a while these become easy enough to understand, but this site should give you a hint.

By the way, anybody who knows exactly what Slash means, knows that the Fanfiction world is one for the open minded. Slash means gay relationships are involved in the story, and possibly graphic description. So, if you're made a little queasy by such thoughts, then I'm afraid you'll either have to put up with it or leave.

Also, anybody who helps with this website will be credited - a term used in fanfiction that has been submitted by a reader, will have (Submitted by #Enter name here#) next to it.
