Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Briana: That's me. I'm the one who created The Adventures of Kara back in 2004. I'm generally the one who runs the show, at least in my mind. And because I'm both the writer AND the artist, the way things go in my mind are generally the way things go in the comic. I have a bit of a god complex, mainly because I created everything in the entire comic.

Likes: html coding, NCIS, CSI, Lady Heather, Josh Groban, gay people, Clay Aiken (although he usually falls into the category of gay people), and sarcasm, better known as snark.

Dislikes: CSI: Miami, stupid people, formal shorts, people who find it ironic that I subscribe to both "Seventeen" and "Popular Science"



Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Kara: Kara is the one of us who usually has all kinds of interesting mishaps. That and she spazzes a lot, creating good material for a webcomic. Until recently, she was dangerously obsessed with the musical group U2, and had a fictional relationship with U2 member The Edge.

Likes: U2, The Edge, Fiona Apple, the term :squee: x infinity:, forum members who give her free iTunes songs, Mr. Hopper's ass

Dislikes: Being accused of liking Mr. Hopper's ass, being accused of liking Chris, not being able to see at a U2 concert

She had her birthday video rudely interrupted by Kara, who was jealous at her lack of screen time. Booski spends her time updating her LiveJournal and doing other stuff. Like stalking Gwen.

Likes: Gwen Stefani, No Doubt, Last.FM, Gold's Gym

Dislikes: her dog, babysitting without getting paid, substitute Latin teachers



Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Chris: Kara's ex-boyfriend, who we all believe still liked Kara. I say liked because recently, he's had a girlfriend. But now that she's moving to Wisconsin, who knows...

Likes: His car, Kara, his guitar, old bands that are good but no one really cares about, any female he's ever met, nerd camp pot

Dislikes: Laser tag, finding out that a girl he asked out twice is a lesbian, Kara breaking up with him, getting turned down, everything else not mentioned in "Likes"



Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting The Edge: Long time member of the musical group U2, The Edge was involved with Kara for quite some time. However, due to an affair with Lady Heather and an addiction to hard-core bondage (a.k.a. getting his ass kicked by Lady Heather) the relationship with Kara has been rocky.

Likes: Helping hurricane victims, Lady Heather, Kara, funny hats

Dislikes: Being made into a cartoon, misunderstanding the meaning of "birthday suit"



Other Characters



Other minor characters that aren't particularly important to the overall comic, but may confuse some readers who don't know who they are.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Lady Heather: A dominatrix that has been featured on three seperate episodes of CSI, who used to rock out loud until the idiot producers tried to cram her into a 1-hour episode. LADY HEATHER WILL NOT BE RESTRAINED! Ahem. Anyway, as a dominatrix, she makes a good portion of her income from The Edge's business.

Likes: Grissom, black clothing, cross necklaces, Harvard

Dislikes: Being given a good, 90-minute special worthy story and having to cram it into 45 minutes, her daughter getting killed, having to sleep with the person who killed her daughter to obtain DNA evidence for the police

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Chuck Norris: The manly influence that the comic has been lacking ever since we met Chris. We chose him because DAN BROWN TOLD US TO!!!

Likes: Rugged manliness (but not of other men), women (or at least the female version of whatever it is he is), razors with more blades than you can count on one hand, Stephen Colbert, QUIZNOS SUBS (because Subways is for fat GHEY loser n00bs)

Dislikes: bees, the color pink, females of his species who "claim" to be pregnant and try to take half his money

Likes: setting stuff on fire, yelling at Kara, rifle magazines, the NRA, World of Warcraft

Dislikes: Kara, NOT setting stuff on fire, PETA, Panera Bread, ho-mo-sex-shuls (said using four syllables) and above all else, DEMOCRATS

She tends to pop up here and there, mostly when I'm trying to delay posting because I don't have any comics made up. Katie is usually snarky, cynical, and just plain mean. But we adore her for it.
