It was released of the back of his Pop Idol win and shot straight to number one in the UK. Evergreen was previously an album track on the 2001 Westlife album World Of Our Own whilst the flipside Anything Is Possible was a new song by Cathy Dennis and Chris Braide. Cathy Dennis had previously had success in 2001 by writing Kylie Minogues smash hit single Can't Get You Out Of My Head with Rob Davis. The video for Anything Is Possible saw Will head to Cuba whilst the video for Evergreen was shot in a UK studio.

You And I/Don't Let Me Down

Young, Will 5" CD SINGLE

    Promo Cover

November 2002 saw Will Young release the years official Children In Need single to help raise funds for disadvantaged children in the UK. The single chosen was From Now On album track You And I and a new recording Don't Let Me Down. Don't Let Me Down was co-written by Will himself. There were high hopes for the single when released as Will was looking for his fourth consecutive number one whilst being able to make as much money as possible for charity with the single. Unfortunately the single narrowly missed the number one spot which went to Christina Aguilera and her new single Dirty. This was not a bad result for a reality TV star who previously in the year ahd managed three number one singles and a number one album. The video for You And I saw Will acting all moody in a studio appartment whilst the video for Don't Let Me Down was live footage from his tour. You and I was the last single release from Wll's debut album.
