Our Mission - To strengthen our members through Congregation-centered Community organizing in order to:

• Discover ways to bring about positive changes needed in significant local community issues.
• Inspire members to take responsibility for estabilishing justice and building relationships for quality of life.
  

Faith Speaking works toward the following goals in order to carry out our mission:

• Develop and support at least five core leaders within each congregation.
• Sponsor national leadership training for members of all congregations.
• Conduct training on public matters of importance to Faith Speaking and its members.
• Identify important "winnable" issues and work toward concrete solutions.
• Invite public officials and community leaders to our public meetings to create cooperation in Northeast PA.
• Build Faith Speaking financially through grass-roots fundraisers, membership dues and grants.
