Annual Village Fete
The annual fete is to take place on Saturday July 12 from 2pm on the village green. The community comes out for a truly traditional village fete. This year we anticipate Morris Men, Music, Arts and Crafts Tent, tombola, raffle, stalls, children's races and dog event.
The fete committee would be interested to hear from anyone interested in helping on the day, sponsoring the event or hiring a pitch for a stall. Please contact Sue Bergen-Gander on 01825 712700 for more details.

Local Development Framework
Our first major activity at the Society was the development of a consultation exercise with members about Wealden District Council's Local Development Framework. We completed this and submitted in August 2007. The consultation exercise was about the future development of the ward and sixty one people attended the consultation meeting. We received a large number of comments from members and these were incorporated in to our submission. The submission can be downloaded by clicking here.
