Fairwarp does not possess a long line of famous people. It is after all a community of hard working people, some still employed, some with this to look forward to and many that are able to enjoy a well earned rest.
Throughout the development of the Community Society, much time has been devoted to the subject of the old families of the area versus the incomers. This page, we hope, will help one and all understand a bit more about the characters and families that have lived in the area.

There is still a large number of Ridley's living and working in Fairwarp. This site provides a little background to the history of the family.
