King Alfred, my first locomotive prepares to attack the gradient with a short mixed train.

The Fairvale Light Railway is a 16mm to the foot scale railway running on 32mm gauge track in Winchester, Hampshire. The line was constructed in 2003 and runs a mixture of live steam and battery powered stock.
