Failsworth Rangers 'B' -v- Heyside Juniors 'B'

Welcome back everyone to the league's new venue at the Soccer Centre.  We started off quite brightly

with Jack making some great runs only to be denied by some good goal keeping and

the cross-bar, Jack worked extremely hard in this game which earned him the Man of the Match

Award this week.  Both of Heyside's goals came in the first half and after the

half time talk we started to play better, and to compete for the ball, lets start next

week the way we started the second half this week.

 

I hope that this result was a hiccup with everyone still getting out of holiday mode,

we have really got to compete this season and get the basics right.  Listen to me and Chris

and we should get some good results.  Good luck this season everyone and keep smiling

Failsworth Rangers B - v - Failsworth West A

 

The line up this week was Kayde in net Luke and Kendal at the back Sam and Logan in midfield with Nathan up front with Jack and Harrison on the bench . After a disappointing result last week i was asking for an improved performance from the team and even though the scoreline doesn't suggest it it was . The first half we worked very hard but found ourselves 3-0 down at half time .

In the second half we introduced Harrison and Jack and caused West problems and when Sam won the ball raced through and scored game on . Straight from the kick off Harrison had a chance to reduce the arrears further but for a good save from West's keeper . We started to tire as the half went on and West ran away with it to win 7-1 .

This week's M.O.M was Kayde for a fine goalkeeping display.

Failsworth Rangers B - v - Chaddy End A

 

The starting line up this week Kayde in net Nathan and Luke at the back Sam and Logan in the midfield with Jack up front with Kendall being the only sub with Harrison's decision to leave the club . Good luck Harrison . This was a very hard game against avery good Chaddy End team and dispite all our efforts we were over run by them and went on to lose 9-1 .The positve to take from this is we kept on going till the very end and Nathan determination to score was rewarded with the last goal of the game . 

This week's M.O.M  was Logan for his none stop running and tackling .

Failsworth Rangers B - v - Chaddy End B

 

This week's line up is Kayde in net Logan and Luke at the back Sam and Jack in the midfield with Nathan up front and Kendall on the bench . This was by far our best performance of the season . The game started off at a frantic pace with both teams giving everything . The opening goal of the game came from a defence splitting pass from Sam and Nathan timed his run perfectly to fire across the keeper into the far corner to give Rangers a 1-0 nil lead at half time . It was a battling second half performance which saw Chaddy End equalise and then take the lead with a long range shot . Rangers showed there battling qualities by forcing Chaddy End back and got there reward when Luke shot which took a deflection and ended up in the net to make it 2-2 . The final whistle went soon afterwards and we had got a deserved draw . 

This weeks M.O.M was Sam for a strong performance in the midfield .

Failsworth Rangers B - v - Heyside JFC

We decided this week to keep the same line up to start so Kendall took her place on the bench . We were up against an unbeaten Heyside who are new to our league this year . The first half we were very disappointing with no one listening to what Chris and myself were telling them and we went in at half time 5-0 down . After half time it was much improved performance but Heyside ran out comfortable 7-0 winners .

This weeks M.O.M was Logan for a solid performance at the back .
