This is the shire, it is breathtaking
in its simplicity. Nature cared for at
its upmost. The residents, my dear
Hobbits love the land as equally as
the Fae do.
Here is the lovely home of the
Baggins, Bilbo then bequeathed to
Frodo Baggins his nephew.
(You will meet them soon!)
The view outside from within
the Baggins Hobbit Hole. Ahh
that tree brings back many a
memory of Frodo's readings as
he sat under the tree telling me
tales of olde.
One of my favorite places in the Shire
until a fateful day that Frodo, Merry,
Pippin and Sam came upon dark forces
brining terror to their hearts. Alas this
place and it's goodness are once again
restored and the story behind it all is
now but a fable passed on not only
within Middle Earth, but beyond the
Grey Havens as well.
The shire grows more beautiful to me
with each passing generation. I do so
hope you are able to venture to Middle
Earth one day to visit me in the Shire!
Another of the Baggings's home. I do
believe this was a night I came upon them
for a visit.
The Hobbits know the imporatnce of the land and all of nature, all that grows.
These two images are of my wee hobbit hole! The second is me near the entry way to my hobbit hole!
One of my favorite trees in the Shire. Lovely to flutter from branch to branch keeping close eye upon the all who pass. There are many who dwell here mingled amongst the leaves so green!
From one of my many visits to the elves. This is from Galadriel's home, isn't it enchanting! We had tea here in this spot upon our last meeting.
A flower blooms within the Shire!
So much has happened upon this path, yet it remains one of my most delighted places to venture. So many a memory.
