One minute ticks by, and then another..... and then another..... until eventually it becomes days, weeks and even years, dragging on until there is no end. I used to wake up in the morning with the feeling of hope and that today really was going to be different, but, in reality i was nothing but helpless and worthless. I was lost in the hard cold blackness of, well....me.
In the past 8 months i have changed and evolved, i was able to find the real me through recovery. I did it without the help of my family. When they found out about my 'issue' they thought i was just being an attention seeker or that it was 'all in my mind', and they said just stop, get rid of it. But its not that simple. For weeks i was so angry at them because i had come out begging for their help but they just couldnt understand or comprehend what i was going through, and i guess it was just eaiser for them to turn away.
Thats when i realized that as much as family and friends can help you, the only person you can rely on and trust is yourself because ultimatly you are the one affected by your decisions and your the one who has to live with them every single day.
For these reasons this site will now only be a support to those in need, it will not offer tips or tricks or ridiclious ideas to lose weight because those who truly do suffer already know all these, but they do not want them. To be your true self you have to want to find your light, your reason for being.

Well i've finally updated my site and this time i created a whole new set up. Heaps of ppl have been asking when im posting artworks and i now have a few up (but iv'e still got heaps more 2 load) ull find them in the 'Think Thin' section. I have added WaY more info on all ed's (most r ova a page long!) And i put something new up to, it's a food dictionary (found in the nutrition info) it's got all the information you need on the different types of 'properties' found in most foods eg. Monounsaturated Fat, where it's found and what it does to your body.
The diet & exercise pages contain the new *core workout* which is the 'in' workout 4 summer this yr. I've also added a tips & tricks page which contains tips to fool a doctor and resturant tips (i still have AlOt more 2 add in that section) and thats about it. And also if you have any questions or or comments or helpful tips about anything to do with this site and it's content leave a comment in the guestbook!. ThAnX

Welcome to my site "Faded Picture" which is a site aimed at informing all people about ed-nos (eating disorder not otherwise specified) and ways in which to cope with them. After recently being diagnosed with a form of ed-nos i noticed the lack of sites out there 2 make people aware of what it is really like to "experience one" instead of what doctors assume it is like. My site will contain anorexic and bulimic content but it is in no way pro-ana. In my view eating disorders are a lifestyle choice and until you are ready to seek help they will forever remain that way.
