We are a couple based in bedfordshire Im Jon and my partner is Kevin. We started off with dwarf lops and fell in love with rabbits. They each have there own personalities and treated correctly they can be a huge part of your family. We now have three dwarf lops that have all been neutered and live happily in our garden. After having two of our lops happily bonded (Houdini and his mum Guiness) we thought we would get another rabbit to go with the other rabbit Baileys. But he decided once we got Tarka (our standard black otter rex) that he didnt want to be with any other rabbits and liked living alone, so after many hours of trying to get them to bond we gave up. A year after this Guiness decided she didnt want to live with her son houdini and that Baileys was the man for her.

For anyone that has ever seen a rex rabbit they are adorable our Tarka had us hooked on the rex rabbit but we decided to start breeding the mini rex purely because they are smaller and easier to handle. We love our Tarka but bless her beauty she isnt a cuddly bunny and runs all over the place without a rest. We have bred from her and she has produced some amazing babies, but we dont really want to be permantly breeding from her she is a pet. But she is an amazing mother and loves having babies.

So we now breed pure bred mini rexes so that we can show them. We are fairly new to breeding rabbits but all our rabbits were bought from a very well known breeder of rex rabbits. They are all very much loved pets that we breed hopefully to start showing and get prizes in the aim to start breeding a specialized colour .We will occassionally have some babies for sale. We have different colours in the mini rex one black otter buck, one opal buck, one broken choc doe and one blue doe and one black otter doe that carries the choc otter gene and we recently got a pure bred chinchilla doe 

We are now really trying to specialise in the choc otter mini rex so watch this space.
