Read all about it!

Extra Texture was designed with George Harrison fans in mind.  There are not nearly enough places online for fans to read new, current and retrospective articles on the life, music and impact of George Harrison.  Here at Extra Texture, the goal is to inform, educate and entertain by offering in depth analysis of songs and albums, exploring social impacts, and discussing many aspects of George's life in a way that is fresh to long time fans, accesible to younger fans and enjoyable by all.

The musical discussion will strive to provide an analytical look at the inside of each song.  We won't review a song and simply say, it's good because, rather we will go into each song, pick at each measure and explain how things were done.  Why does that rhythm sound so strange?  How does he produce that creepy chord?  We'll explain all of that in a way that musicians will appreciate and nonmusicians will understand.

The possible topics to be covered are as endless as the joy Harrison's music brings us and we are open to any ideas you may have.  Also, if you enjoy writing and have something to offer, please send it our way.  We will post any high quality essays and articles on any aspect of George Harrison.

So, come back often and enjoy the site.  We will update regularly and hope for the site to grow and expand as it progresses.  Tell all your friends and, most of all, "love one another."
