The Interview
I had an interview today,
I failed on poor technique.
But there's a course for everything,
I'm starting one next week.
They'll tell me how to sit and talk,
They'll tell me how to dress,
To think out answers carefully,
And what I should repress.
They'll set me some test questions,
That I am sure to meet,
And point out little pitfalls,
Where I should be discreet.
When next I'm at an interview,
They'll offer me the post.
Not because I'm qualified,
Nor 'cos I'm suited most.
'Twill be because I sounded good,
But I won't show remorse,
For that is what you learn upon,
An interviewing course.
