Have you ever wondered what 'Webs' would be like under a Union? Your views could be expressed by a selected few having direct contact with the administrators of 'Webs'. Someone to speak up for you, to lead, direct and achieve your potential. This idea gives us the users of 'Webs' a choice of what we want from our host. Furthermore change is important to us. However we would like to have OUR say and have every democratic right on doing so! This is groundbreaking as no other web host in the WORLD does this with their communities. My plan is to have a Union made up of 10 members and hold monthly meetings with the 'Webs' management team to discuss your concerns and ideas with them. Yearly elections will be held in September. Dear webs management team,
Today I used the 'live chat' you offer and spoke to a person called Jason about an idea I have that could change and improve relations between the community and the web host service you so grately provide. He told me to 'create a ticket' so here goes...
My idea is to have a 'Webs Union', where members of the community get voted in to represent them and express their problems/comments/etc to the Webs management.
I have already set up a website about this. It's called The Express Page. - http://freewebs.com/expresspage
I think this is an excellent idea for us to improve relations and for the community to have a few representatives to speak out for them. For example many people disagree with the new guestbook etc. This is also good for the service you provide because I have yet to see this idea anywhere else on the Internet!
I think that it will bring more customers to you, and the community would see this as groundbreaking.
Meetings will be held once a month and we could have a meeting on an online chat, whereby topics will be discussed of the communities praises or concerns. Also you could put forward to us what you intend for the community for future months, new designs, new widgets etc. You would hold yearly elections in september on your website whereby members of 'Webs' can vote for their persons. I think 10 members for the union is enough people. Too many would mean people would become lazy and lose inetrest. The members that are selected would be answering questions for the community and putting forward to you on the monthly meetings.
I would be greatful if I can hear from you people. I know your very busy but I thought I would like to share my idea with you as I think it's something thats never happened before and can make us stronger than any other web host provider. I enjoy making my websites with you. I can't see any other host doing this with their customers.
