Our Sponsorship Needs fall into three board areas:

1.      Equipment and Supplies: It takes an enormous amount of equipment and supplies to climb a Himalayan mountain. We rely on supportive sponsors to provide some of our most crucial items.

Charity Objectives we have objectives in addition to our goal to climb our new route on Shishapangma

1.      Clean up Shishapangma base camp. We will be able to carry out or burn almost all trash left by previous expeditions.

2.     Collect rocks and minerals for the Transylvanian University’s, providing study material for students.

Our Goal

Shishapangma 8046m New Route

This Expedition become a first from the „Endeavor 8000 Translyvania series climb the 14 Giant. In year of 1994 Ed Viesturs From Seatle USA start this program call „Endeavor 8000”, in year of 2002 we are inwited to join this program climb the Annapurna southface  „with ofice xp to Annapurna”  Unfortunately our smallest budget makes the final decision to cancel our participation in this expedition with: Ed Viesturs USA, Jean Christophe Lafaille France, Viekka Gustafson Finland. After the first successfully alpine stile expedition in 2006 summited the Chulu West 6610m Central Himalayan summit we decided to call the “Endeavor 8000 Transylvania”  Project to climb all 14 8000m peaks in alpine style continue the goal and dreams of our friend Jean Chtistophe Lafaille from France.

We are a small team From Romania combined from 2 members representing the Hungarian Minority from Romania. We organizing this alpine style expedition to leave on 04. October.  2009 bound for Tibet to climb Sishapangma, 8013m. We have decided to attempt a new route on the mountain near the British route opened in 1982. We will not use fixed camps - only one high camp and a gear drop. We would like to dedicate this route to the memory of our friend Jean Cristophe Lafaille. We will be producing a film about this project. (DVD)
