The Extreme Wrestling Alliance is an online e-Federation created on July 31st, 2007 by Marcus and Rhona O'Conner. The original concept for the EWA was to plant the seeds of a worldwide phenomena of wrestling entertainment. Drawing talent from all over the world, the EWA has the potential to become one of the biggest promotions in wrestling history.
In late July 2007, the O'Conners created the EWA, originally naming it the Euro-American Wrestling Association. Rhona and Marcus had a great deal of experience in Federation administration, from all their years in the SWF (Scottish Wrestling Federation). When the SWF was absorbed into the European Alliance Association, the O'Conners moved to the United States to make a fresh start. In June of 2008, the company changed it's name to the Extreme Wrestling Alliance. The company was going to feature a much harsher edge and a wider appeal amongst fans. The Extreme Wrestling Alliance is looking toward the future with a brand new outlook and a renewed spirit for bringing sports entertainment to the world!
