Welcome aboard the second incarnation of the PeopleMover. The PeopleMover first came to Disneyland in 1967, and closed in 1998. It re-opened in 2009, & will continue for hopefully a long time to come.
We are now entering Star Wars: Battle for the Empire, a thrilling new take, on a classic attraction, based on the George Lucas Star Wars films.
Bellow you is the Star Trader, one of the biggest shopping destinations in Disneyland.
To your left is the StarCade, where you can embark on all sorts of video games from around the galaxy.
Tomorrowlands biggest wonder, Space Mountain is coming up ahead
Here you can blast off to the moon & back, in just under 3 minutes! As we enter Space Mountain, we would like to remind you to kindly remain seated, thank you.
Bellow, is Plectu's Intergalictic Revue, a musical cavalade, featuring Sonny Eclipse, & his stars of the galaxy. Just ahead, is the Extra TERRORestrial Alien Encounter. You will visit XS Techs Earth headquarters, to witness there new amazing transporting technology, but dont be surprised if something goes horribly wrong.
We are now approaching Mission Space, where you will be recruited as astronauts, for the first public Mission to Mars. After youve experienced your journey to Mars, you can travel upstairs for an exhibit on Walt Disney, & his view of the future, including his 20th Century vision of tomorrow, which was originally seen on the PeopleMover, over 50 years ago.
Winding bellow you are the Autopia tracks. You can pilot your own Autopia car to Fantasyland & back. And above you is Disneylands highway in the sky, the Monorail. The Monorail will take you on a scenic view of Tomorrowland, Downtown Disney, & Disneys California Adventure, before departing in the Downtown Disney station.
Bellow you know, is the Submarine Lagoon, home to Finding Nemo: Submarine Voyage. Youll depart on a Submarine Voyage to the North Pole, encountering characters from Finding Nemo along the way.
To your right is the Monorail station, as well as the world famous Matterhorn Bobsleds. And in the midst of the hub of Tomorrowland, you can find the Star Jets, & the Tomorrowland Terrace Stage & Restaurant.
Citizens of Tomorrowland, join Buzz Lightyear on a daring Space Mission, to save the universe from the Evil Emperor Zurg. You can report to Star Command headquarters for Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters.
As we approach the PeopleMover station, you see 2 enormous murals, taking a look at the past of tomorrow.
