Premier event coming September, 2009 Journey back to the Mid - 1500’s, to the port city of Messina, Sicily, a port of call for trading ships from a multitude of foreign lands. Come, join the local gentry in raising your mug and toasting to summer's end, the start of the the grape harvest, and the fine wine those sweet fruits will make. Nobles and Ambassadors from across Europe will attend the Festival and purchase the fine wines and food that is the pride of Messina. The finest of entertainments have been gathered for the delight and amusement of all who attend. Artisans will proudly display their wares for your amazement and delight. Being a port town, there is no telling what colorful characters will be found wandering the streets. Do join us and see what persons and enchantments await - you do not want to miss this event! DUE TO A RECENT CHANGE IN BRISTOW PARKS AND RECREATIONS AND THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE EXTRA PARK BENCHES OR PICNIC TABLES. WE ARE LETTING PEOPLE KNOW THAT WE SUGGEST THEY BRING THIER LAWN CHAIRS AND BLANKETS, IF THEY WOULD LIKE A COZY PLACE TO SET. THERE ARE SOME PICNIC TABLES AND BENCHES.
