So, there is no excuse for me not having the awards ready on time. I apologize. They will be up TODAY! I've sent an email telling everyone, so you can all pick them up. Again, sorry about the wait =(. Round Four is now open. We have one new nominee! Frodo Forever!

The Winners for Round Three have been announced! The awards should be up by the end of the weekend. Congratulations to our winners and thanks to all who entered. Round Four will open April 1, 2007.

Three New Nominees! Estel Graphics, LotR The Legend Comes To Life, and The Dwarven Lords. Any more entries for this round should be in before tomorrow afternoon, after that they will be closed until March 19,2007 when Round Four opens. Thanks to those who are participating!

The graphics section has all been moved to the main site, including the blank graphics. There will be a new section up at this site soon that offers pre-made award bases and buttons for award sites.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Holiday season around my house is pretty hectic. I have one more Nominee for this round One Ring Graphics. Entrees are now CLOSED. Winners will be announced the day AFTER Christmas. Awards will be posted on New Years. Thank you all for entering and have a Happy Holiday.

I guess the name is nothing all that special. I know some sites have a great deal of meaning behind their names, but Evenstar Embers simply came to me one day. I was making an icon of the evenstar necklace, and I decided I would really like to include that name in the title of the site I was currently building. Then, I remember watching Return of the King and during the reforging of the Flame of the West, I chose embers to follow evenstar in my website title. Thus is the history of the title Evenstar Embers.

This was my Arwen/Aragorn Layout. I liked it very much. It had a blue theme and I used pictures from the Arwen Undomiel site (Caps from Return of the King). I just blended them together, added some color layers in PSP 7.0, then added text and fin.
