1. When nominating your site for Best Old Site, your site must be older than 6 months old. Also, when nominating your site for Best New Site, your site must be younger than 6 months old.

2. While it is a nice thought to nominate a site you do not own, please do not nominate a site that you do not manage or assistant manage.

3. Your site does not have to be Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter related to enter (on some categories), you may enter any kind of site.

4. When nominating your site in any of the Graphic Awards, say for Best Banners, you have to have made the banners yourself. There is an award for Best Donated Layout, meaning if you didn't make your layout and would like to win an award for it, this award is for you.

5. Where it says "Alda" on the nomination form, type "Tree" so I know you've read the rules. This will change every round.

6. You must put a link back to Evenstar Embers on your site while the round you are nominated in is going on. You may remove it after the awards are announced, but please leave it up while you are nominated on the site.

7. If you win an award for, say Best Character Site in Round One, you may enter your site in the same category the next round.

8. If you do not win the award you wanted, please do not let it get to you. Simply enter your site again.

9. If there is only one nominee in a category, the award will go to them. Also, if there are two sites who equally deserve the award, I will call it a tie.
