My first accessory that I purchased was the backrest from Pirat's Lair. The install was very easy and my wife loves it. The backrest bolts on in seconds and when you take it off, you can hardly tell there is a bracket there. $330 but worth it if you have a passenger. Now I don't have to be scared that the "B...h" fell off. Link

The one thing I did not like about my bike were the stock orange colored turn signals. I just swapped them with the white colored ones and already received some compliments. You can purchase them at the BMW dealership for around $30 including bulbs. Click on the thumb for additional large picture.

I purchased the Garmin Streetpilot III color for my cruiser and can not miss it when going on longer trips. I use it in my car and on the motorcyle. I changed the bolts on my tank by blue aluminum bolts and it ads an nice touch to your bike without a big expense. Just screw out the standard bolts and replace them with the new blue aluminum once. Watch out that you don't put too much torque on them, they will crack.
