
All new members must be nominated and seconded by existing members and approved by the core members, knowing new members are compatible with the club ideals and goals. The cost of membership is a $30.00 joining fee and $10.00 for each year after. For your $30.00 joining fee you receive a short sleeve T-shirt and an E R S C badge. All memberships will be due for renewal 20/5 each year.
All new member are social members, as a SM, you have no responsibility or duties, you are there to enjoy yourself but, as a SM you have no say in how the E R S C is run. After a period of time if you want, you can become a core member, as a CM you take on responsibility and duties and have a say and vote on the direction of the E R S C (only the core members have a say).
The founders of the E R SC have the right to veto membership of any person they feel are unsuitable to the E R S C ideals and goals .Once the founders have vetoed a membership the decision is final with no repeal. The founders have the right to veto any decision made by the membership that is not in the best interest of the E R S C ideals and goals.
The founders of the E R S C reserve to right make new rules and change existing rules if a situation arises where is deemed necessary to do so.
E R S C is not an exclusive club you can be a member of other clubs, groups and/or associations, but E R S C prefer you do not wear logo/t-shirts from other clubs, groups or associations whilst attending E R S C events.
CODE OF CONDUCT
The E R S C is a DRUG free family orientated club where members can bring their children to all events. Any event where it would be unsuitable for children to attend the members will be given plenty of notice.
Any member who brings the E R S C into disrepute can and will have their membership cancelled. Once the decision to cancel a membership is made it is final with no avenue of appeal. Any person with a conviction for abuse against children is deemed unsuitable for membership.
All E R S C members must show respect to other members, their families and property. Members must follow the code of conduct, no personal grievances. The members will conduct themselves in a manner that will not bring them into dispute with the rules of society.
When riding as a group a staggered formation is recommend , any member who wished to ride hard that is there choice , The E R S C recommends that all riders ride within there comfort zone.
Each branch of the E R S C will operate on its own, but will always be governed by the E R S C rules and code of conduct. Failure to follow these rules and code of conduct will result in the closure of that branch. (We hope this never happens.)
The LOGO (shirts/ badges) of the E R S C will always remain the property of the E R S C and can only be worn by a current member. If you leave the club, the logo will be bought back by the club.
