 4 weeks  Series : A Prop a day...

4 weeks  : a prop a day :  learn everything about  the most commonly used props in Middle Eastern Dance .

This is a 4 weeks series  each week will cover  1 prop, learn the culture, history behind each prop,   learn  the correct  music to apply to eachprop as well as the appropiate costume choice,  plus  technique for each prop.

 

You will need a 3 yd veil,  cane,  sword and fans.

Cost:  $60.00  for the 4 weks  or  $16.00per class

About my classes:

You will learn the following concepts:  postural awareness,  the basic  moves of bellydance, how to isolate upper and lower body, gracious hands and arm placement , musicality  , rhythms  and instrumentation .  My class is designed to inspire you to   become  "the  bellydancer"  it is a whole  eye  openning experience!
after you master the   basic  moves  we will learn how to improvise , traveling steps , use of props , costuming and music selection  demeanor and ethics in the dance, cultural  context and why  bellydance?
My  intention is to give you the tools to be  your own dancer and become inspired, some of my students have   continue  their studies to become teachers and performers and that is my reward!!!







In order to belong to the troupe you must be  enrolled in 1 weekly class with Eugenia  and  be able to attend  rehearsals  on a weekly basis , no exceptions .

Ability to work cooperatively and   with a group, ability to  accept  critique in a positive constructive way .
