The set that I am collecting right now is the 2005-06 Topps Chrome basketball. I just purchased 3 boxes last week and have put them away unopened! I got a great price on these boxes at $65 per. I am looking at it's investment potential and it looks very good! The Chris Paul rookie and the Deron Williams rookie cards should carry this set for years to come.

Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose is another solid basketball card investment. Ever since he came out of Memphis in the 2008 NBA Draft he has played well in the pros. He had a great series last year in the NBA playoffs against the Boston Celtics. And of course with him playing so well, his rookie cards are hot right now. Especially the Derrick Rose 2008-09 Topps Chrome. A nice card to add to your basketball card collection.

New York Jets rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez has had his ups and downs so far in the 2009 NFL season. He was awful in the game when they played Miami. But, he has had some good games as well and his rookie cards seem to be selling well. The Mark Sanchez 2009 Topps Chrome is a solid rookie card of the former USC QB.
