Just now, I did a little upgrade thing on my music section on my downloads page. I just got a request recently for WBC2 music, so I added a link to I2's wbc2 music page and just cleaned that section up. More than that, this post will let you guys know I havn't died in a horrific accident or something and that I still do update sometimes.. :p. I'll search around sometime soon for some new Warlords news. Peace

I added Patricks site to my fan sites section (Check it out. Very cool), and deleted a few dead sites I found. I also moved some sites around as for some reason they were in the forums section when they should've been, fan site section when they should've been, etc.

A few days ago I made a 'news archives' page and took off like 4/5ths of the news posts off this home site. Maybe it will save a few seconds of loading. It's like my hair. I've been meaning to cut it for a long time.. Just havn't got to it.

I love seeing people still on the wbc3 boards. I found some interesting stuff while there. Something really helpful that Kharn posted, a collection of maps and map stuff, like new map tiles.

Also, for those of you who don't check the boards, and for some reason check here for recent news from I2.. lol. Steve Fawkner replied to a topic about WBC4.

"We have started some early work on both Warlords 5 & Warlords Battlecry 4. We are actively seeking a publishing partner for both titles, but this time around we're not going to do the games until we get the right publishing deal with enough budget to do an EXCELLENT job on them.

That means that WBC4 might be done first... or W5 might be done first... or they both might be done at the same time!

I guess it could take anywhere from 2 to 5 years to complete WBC4. It sounds like Warlords 5 has a little bit of a priority over WBC4 though.

"My thoughts were that I would like to treat races in WBC4 (and possibly W5) a little like they treat the classes & prestige classes in Dungeons & Dragons. In other words, you would have Master-Races (and I mean that in a non-nazi kind of way), and then you have Sub-Races that would be variations on the main race.

There would probably be 6 of these Main Races, and the possibilities for sub-races is really limitless. This would even possibly allow for player customization of races & creation of altogether new sides to play.

So in the initial release, we would try to cover the 6 main races, and in future expansions we could add more variations to each race.

1) Humans
2) Dwarves

4) Demihumans (Orcs, Goblins, Minotaurs, Giants, etc... would be included in here - they'd get a better name later )

Also, Puzzle Quest, a Warlords themed Puzzle game from I2 released a demo a while back. I know it's a puzzle game, but it actually does look pretty cool. Unfortunately, my Windows isn't currently working, so I havn't yet played it. Get it here.

Finally, I'd like to say thanks to the people who are visiting my site. When I checked a while back after months of being gone, I thought this would be completely dead. I was pleasantly surprised to see sometimes even above 10 a day (which is better than I thought I'd have when I built this site). Thank you all for the self-esteem boost. :p

    Well, unfortunately the map contest didn't go too well. I got a total of.... zero votes.. so.. I guess I'll replay all of the maps I got sometime and vote myself. 

    My big news today: freewebs finally added something that I've wanted to have on my site; a comment box. They're still really quite hard to mess with.. as they don't work the way you want them to a lot.. Plus, I decided I'd add what I was listening to.. I have no intention to make this my xanga or myspace replacement however.. :p

    The comment thing was really all I wanted to say. That's all I worked on today. I'll inform you all hopefully soon who won my map contest.

1. Size and type do not matter (including any rules, events, etc.)
2. Maps must be made by you
3. Maps must be exclusive
4. Single or multiplayer (single will be easier for players to rate)
5. Must use a later and more popular patch (srry Delta)

Sumit up to THREE (not 2 anymore) maps (for this tournie; any extra will gladly be recieved and posted on my site ne ways) via email (squirt4484@hotmail.com) or host it on a storage site and give me the link.. w/e you find. Please name the email like "MAPS" or something. - Out of the two maps you submit, name one as your favorite, preferable, #1, etc.. IF a lot of maps are submitted, I will put both of your maps on my site as "eligable" to win my award (spot in my exclusive hall of fame as the winner of this contest. I'll even throw in a cool title if you win. "Map Makers of Etheria" or something.. :p). If I only get a few, only the one you specified will be put up.

    Ok, I have 3 maps up for my tournie.. (look in the above topic for details) ..Because that's all I've gotten.. Right above this there's a thing that says "follow the battlefield topic" or something. Go to that, make sure you have an account, minimize that and open WBC3 and make me a map! then put the file in a .rar or .zip and post it on the BF k? :)

    Oh hey; important news: I made the max amount of maps that can be entered per user 3 instead of 2. So make another map Kharn.. :p (and 2 more for you Prodigy. I liked yours.)

   I just found Infinite Interactive's new forum. I guess someone hacked the old I2 forums or something, so this ones pretty new; only 3 topics as of right now in WBC3. I like it though. I'd rather post on an I2 site rather than the Enlight one.. Then there's the battlefield.. So, today I just added the I2 forum link in my intro paragraph at the top of this page.

   I'm starting to get a few maps for my contest already.. (look above for details) I'll probably put the maps up in a few days.. But dont worry.. That isn't the deadline. The actual voting wont start for a while so if you get them to me a little after I put up the first wave, thats ok. But it would be nice to have them asap.. So I can get an idea of the amount of maps I'll be dealing with.

   Hey guys. Updating again.. First time in.. .. a long time. So school sucks.. What ya gonna do?

    I'm not done with my updates. So far I just deleted my 250free guestbook cause some moron auto posts advertisements like 3 times a day. The new one is used by freewebs. It seems pretty cool.

    I still need to get all the newest updates up. I just looked at the battlefield again, and there's some new stuff I need to get up. For now, I'll leave you with Jodwin's download page; he has a lot of the new downloads I'm talking about. Later
