My name is Jayne and i started Eternity when i was ten. The idea came to me on holiday in Florida, not that Florida had much to do with it, i was just thinking and the concept of the White Wolf came to me, though i can't remember how, call it serendipidy or however you spell that .

It's a fantasy story set in a place called Reality One and centres mostly around it's half-wolf inhabitants. The main characters tend to overlap and switch. The first is a half-wolf named William Somerville, whom i try to preserve throughout the story as i promised myself when he stopped being the main character i'd stop Eternity. Shows how good i am at keeping promises. Anyway the next main character is the Creator really, but i try to keep her in the background as i don't want the story to be all about her. The story follows her for a bit and the people she gets involved with, then the current main character, a half-wolf Rathe named Tristen, arrives. He hangs around with the older characters like William and Roseylien (i give them a bit of a revival) then gradually makes his own friends his own age and theres sort of an 'Eternity: the Next Generation' theme to it nowadays.

I'm seriously considering making the newer episodes a spin-off series called 'Ravendale'. It could have it's own site once this one is better established. I think i'd make it green to go with this one being blue... But i'm getting ahead of myself here. I do that a lot, it's how i always plan but never take action. I'm amazed this site actually got off the ground to be honest. but as for 'Ravendale', if you think it's a good (or bad) idea, please comment.

I'd always had the idea of Reality One, ever since before i can remember, though it wasn't called that til i created Eternity. It was the place where my imaginary friends lived when i was little, and started off as a forest in my head. It expanded, as towns do, to include a school and some housing- and a cinema, heh- and a little club for entertainment, later to be called the Wolf Club in Eternity.

Some of the buildings, like the Wolf Club, are based on real places, or places i've seen. There's a couple buildings from films and stuff, though i won't say which so i don't get sued (most of the places in Reality One are original by the way, like the Camspite and the Entertainment Hall and the Central Network etc, very few are based on film sets). Anyway the Wolf Club is based on the Masonic Lodge in my home town, Monifieth, and some other stuff like that.

There are previous plots with Warren as the main character, Eternity has been continually evolving since i was young, but i thought the switch over between him and William when everything with the White Wolf happens was a better place to start. The characters also become more my own after that, when i was mature enough to creat my own personalities instead of relying on other's creations for inspiration.

I'd like to say my old Eterniy characters are 'modified' from others, but in truth i watched too much tv and couldn't think of my own characters. My original characters are rip offs- as you may guess when you read. The Reality started off populated by my invisible anthro fox friends, as i watched a lot of Farthing Wood and the Fox and the Hound as a child, so all those are original characters. There are many many fox characters in Eternity which you never see, because when i was small all my character's were pretty flat and uncomplicated.

Nowadays i don't watch much tv, so all the newer characters (the young Rathes and wolves) are all based on my friends. I started off with one 'cause he had the right look i wanted for Tristen, then everybody else heard of it and i 'had' to make characters for them, though most didnt catch on (sorry Holz and Kirsten). The best new characters were made without the people asking me, the likes of Tristen, Tallir and Kaleaco. I was hugged by 'Tristen' when he found out about Tristen's hot wife, and by 'Kaleaco' when he found out about Kal's ace guitar skills  What a wierd day that was.

Ok, i've covered when, where and 'how' i thought of it, the places and the characters. I think that's about enough, don't you? I'll leave the prologue seperate, that's more written from a character point of view (MY character  she be based on me). There have been two versions of the prologue, the original was my attempt at humour , and the second one was very dry and informative . I'll try and mix 'em up for you  Enjoy!
